House Arundel is really central in the town but really quiet in the evening
My room was beautifully decorated and the bed incredibly comfortable. Lovely clean, contemporary bathroom with super plush towels.
Teas and coffee in the room with an honesty bar downstairs.
The owners are super-friendly and helpful too.
A wonderful stay!

Very spacious and everything easy accessible.
Felt like a little home away from home.
The bed was very comfortable and of course the hot tub was amazing!

The house was beautiful, it had everything we needed. The beds were comfortable, and the bed linen and towels were wonderfully soft. The only small thing we thought would be useful was a mirror in each bedroom.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this property.

Arundel is a lovely quiant town, it has an impressive castle & cathedral. It has lots of bars, restaurants & boutique shops. It is small enough to walk around but has plenty to do.
It is in easy reach of Littlehampton, Chichester & Brighton by car.

Arundel has some lovely antique shops and cafes.
Arundel has some lovely antique shops and cafes. The best breakfast is at The Moathouse just across the bridge. You can walk along Mill Lane to visit Swanbourne Lake, which is free, or the Wildfowl & Wetlands centre. That is free for WWT members but well worth the entry fee if not. A bit further on is The Black Rabbit pub, where you can have a great meal by the river.

Arundel is a really quaint place with a good selection of small shops, pubs and eateries. Juniper's coffee shop & bakery is a must visit. The cinnamon buns are to die for. The Italian restaurant La Campania we highly recommend and the Norfolk Arms a great place to relax and chill. The local architecture and the walk along pass the museum and to the wet land centre really interesting & lovely. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit.

Arundel is a beautiful and very charming village with lots to see and do. A visit to the castle is a must as is a wandrr through the quaint shops in the main stteet (and off to the side). The food on offer in the restaurants was fabulous. We had dinner at The Swan The Parson's Table and the Black Rabbit.
Arundel is a great place to do a walk through the South Downs.

The WWT site is small but with a balance between "kept" birds and wild native ones. I prefer wild ones and the woodland and reed walks were good with some hides not under repair though the wild birds did not turn up in quantities nor with abundant variety of species.
The castle is fascinating ( a golf buggy will save a lot of uphill walking if used). The medieval "palace" was knocked down in the Commonwealth regime and only rebuilt in phases over the 197th and Twentieth centuries ( the gardens were opened after 2000). The Keep remains and is sufficiently whole to allow one to envisage the ancient reality. The Fitzalan Chapel in the grounds is definitely a place to visit. Nearly 20 generations of Fitzalan and Howard leaders are buried and remembered in the chapel providing much light onto English history.
The town is mall and old and worth a walk round.
Spent 3 nights at this B&B well situated just outside Arundel boundary. Lovely clean large room with nice furniture. You get your own set of keys so you can come and go at will. Room beautifully appointed with oak doors and floors. The owner was very welcoming and provided a comprehensive range of fruit and yogurts etc. as well as a magnificent full English / scrambled eggs / bacon butties etc. Access to a large garden with fruit trees visited by a small deer while we were there. Would highly recommend.
This place is lovely and highly recommended. Judith made us all very welcome. The hotel is right in the middle of the beautiful town of Arundel, right next to the Castle. The room was excellent. Continental breakfasts can sometime be disappointing - but not in this case. Also, the selections of cheese, meats and wine we had in the evenings was just superb. Cannot recommend this place highly enough. Will definitely be back.
Great place, amazing location in the center of Arundel so easy to walk to restaurants and shops, and very serene & peaceful on the river. The Sail Loft was very clean, comfortable, and welcoming and had everything we need including free private parking which was a huge bonus. Jane was a wonderful host, with great communication Would definitely stay again. 5 Stars!!!
Excellent little hotel in the perfect location to see and get around Arundel. Staff were all really friendly. Breakfast was great and cocktails were a great way to finish off an evening. The room was really comfy with the best view overlooking the castle and down Arundel High Street. Would really recommend staying here and look forward to another visit
A stylish, small hotel with only a few fancy rooms. Our room had a direct view of the Arundel Castle and a canopy, very comfortable bed. The staff were super kind and friendly. The breakfast was delicious and varied enough. Additionally, we appreciated a little chat with the host each morning. This lovely place can be definitely recommended.
Excellent location, great room with large comfy bed, on-site parking (reserve in advance). Lucie and Iain (the owners) were very friendly and cooked a great breakfast. Excellent value for money and more of hotel quality than a B&B, highly recommended and will certainly stay there again if going to Arundel.
The location of the hotel is very close to all amenities and tourist locations in arundel and is walkable from the hotel. It is also 2 minutes from the train station on foot.
The railway was not noisy whilst in the room though.
There was a ceiling fan which is good if you have the windows shut.
correct bed configuration where as other hotels you book twin beds and then they try to give you a double bed when you check in.
plenty of car parking.
excellent cooked breakfast
pleasant walk through woods to get into Arundel
Great stay if you want a traditional pub experience. Very nice room, comfortable bed. The town of Arundel is full of character and history, the Swan Hotel is an excellent choice, good breakfast and dinner was very nice as well.
Perfect location, right on the high street with easy access to bars, restaurants and the castle. Our room was spacious, comfortable and very quiet. Staff were friendly and curteous. Breakfast was tasty! Loved the cosy bar area.
As others have mentioned it is located very conveniently for Arundel town centre and the Castle. Breakfast was freshly-cooked and with good service. There was a good choice of cereals. There is a large car park.
An historic hotel, with secure parking, in the middle of Arundel. We stayed in a comfortable, spacious room in their modern annex. Worth taking a peek at the ballroom on the first floor, a stunning room.
location good for my visit to Brighton, bonus was that the Arundel village was lovely!
slightly pricey for this type of hotel but guess it’s peak time.
clean and easy process after a long drive.
Perfect old coaching inn hotel in perfect location, with perfect public parking right behind. THE place to stay in Arundel: handsome hotel, nice room, nice staff, good food, very good value.
The inn was beautiful. Very clean. My room had a nice view.
Taxi to town easy 8 pounds
The meal I had. Trout and potatoes is one of the best I have ever had and I travel all over the world
Nice hotel with lovely grounds, especially the large patio area.
The room we had was very comfortable, although staring to look atl bit dated and a bit of tlc was needed in the bathroom.
