Very cozy and lovely town, full of fields and gardens to walk, explore and love. Long path through the River Thames and some options to hire kayaks and stand up paddle. Lots of traditional pubs in the town center and very good cafes & restaurants with all kinds of options for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Very friendly place for dogs including hotels and restaurants. We live in Leeds so the trip to Abingdon is one of our favourites .A small market town with lots of places to eat and lovely Oxfordshire countryside and wildlife. Nearby Bletchley Park is definitely worth a visit. There are lots of places to walk in Abingdon and lots of history to discover. Oxford is only a bus ride away and they are very regular .Would never drive there.

Excellent, spacious and comfortable downstairs with lounge and kitchen dining areas and very large TV. Both bedrooms were very comfortable, one having an ensuite. Heating effective throughout. Oxford buses stop near but and Waitrose excellent. Abingdon Museum worth a visit.
