The bar and bistro restaurant are brilliant but for a truly memorable experience book into The Royal which is outstanding. The Spa and treatments are 5 star and extremely luxurious. We spent two days at the hotel and neither of us wanted to leave - we can’t wait to return.

Location is excellent! Breakfast was good considering this is France. The restaurant, Cafe de la paix, has budget-friendly ‘menu du jour’ and ‘plat du jour’. We had one lunch and one dinner. It was all good ‘brasserie’ type of food. Also the garden is beautiful and the adjacent spa looked nice, though we didn’t utilize it. This makes it a very nice location in good weather.
