We loved arriving at a typical gîte !
We were kindly welcomed and shown our home for the week.
We lived in the room with mountain views, soft natural decoration, comfortable beds with impeccable, but really impeccable white sheets and general cleanliness.
The bathroom is included in the room, lovely and warm.
But the best were the hosts and sharing a generous fresh breakfast with them.
They were great guides offering lots of information on the surroundings and winter activities.
The location is unbeatable!
You are 7 min (by car) from the Pelvoux station and 20 from Puy Saint Vincent ski station.
We travel a lot, and we can say that Delphine and Pierre add to the experience with their care and perfect lodging.
We left not without ensuring our reservation for next year.
We can't wait to come back!!!!

We love Ailefroide and we love this family run hotel. The room was lovely, with a balcony and the food was nice. Shame the guests next door to us were so noisy which is unusual for Ailefroide, and definitely not the hotel’s fault.

The hosts, Delphine and Pierre, were very welcoming and friendly. The newly refurbished accommodation has quality and is comfortable, clean and well thought out. The breakfast is excellent. - so well presented with a lovely choice of items. Our circumstances meant we ended up staying for 4 nights instead of one, and Delphine couldn’t have been more helpful in sorting this out for us. Vallouise is a lovely village with a good choice of restaurants and excellent walks.
