We were very lucky to be the only guests at the castle. It is a wonderful large castle with any imaginable facility available and an enormous park, including an entire wood. The castle perserves the ancient atmosphere and is all visitable/enjoyable by the guests. Our room (the white room) was quite spacious, with two windows on the front park, a large canopy bed and a beautiful stove. The bathroom includes bidet (extremely rare in France). Staff was welcoming, nice, attentive person.

We rented out the entire house and had a great stay. The breakfast was really delicious. It was our last stay after a very hot bike trip and it couldn't have been better. The owner is very friendly and gave us some good advice on where to eat. The rooms are very spacious and beautiful. Definitely worth the price!

Valigny is a small rural village. It has a fantastic lake - I used to fish there often when we lived close by and regularly caught 30lb plus Carp.
Lurcy Levis not far away has bakeries, restaurants cafes and a supermarket.
It is very rural but a great place to get to local attractions from.
Once the outside and pool have been completed you probably will want to just relax on site.
There is another Site attached to the property and the owners main house. Owners are very nice and speak fluent english.
