The picture of the location promises more than the actual location turns out to be. Just a new name and logo on the façade. Basically it is just an older previous Première Classe hotel with exactly the same room and sanitary facilities as previous Première Classe establishment.
Not been able to experience restaurant for dinner, because it was closed due to first of May holiday; my mistake. Next day breakfast was OK, although previously as a Première Classe it used to be better. The restaurant interior has been ‘redone’, with no two chairs or tables alike in style, shape and color, same as for the eating plates and cutlary used, basically all-sorts. (You almost get the impression it’s the result of many visits to ‘yard-sales’ or ‘brocantes’.) Makes for a messy look, but that may have been the goal of the ‘revamping’ of the interior. Not my personal taste, but your milage may vary.
Not sure if I’ll visit again. There are enough alternatives for similar prices (or less) and more to my personal liking.

This was a rather lovely rustic-meets-Scandi-style bed and breakfast about fifteen minutes drive from Angoulême city centre. It was the perfect combination of quiet, countryside location with lovely walks, and handily placed for nipping into the city. Good breakfast, very friendly staff, and big, comfortable bed, with great quality linen.
With a pleasant atmosphere, staff and space it was a good break in the journey. The room was pleasant and clean. The visit to the restaurant was equally enjoyable, nothing overdone , just relaxing helped by the manner of the staff.
One thing confused me! This was a carbon copy of a Campanile/Premiere Class complex but run by the competitive chain of hotels, ie Accor/Louvre. It certainly confused me, but ihis was better that the Campanile we stayed at the following night which was admittedly 10 euros cheaper
This hotel was perfect for our visit to the Circuit des Remparts at Angoulême as onsite parking was very important. It's an easy bus journey to the centre of town. The room was a reasonable size, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was better than expected.
The hotel was very easy to find, as it was just off the motorway. The room was clean and comfortable, and the restaurant on site was very good. Breakfast was served from 6 am which meant it was good if an early start was needed.
Room was clean and bed was comfortable.
I liked the Restaurant/Bar adjacent to the hotel, so we didn't have to wander around the area looking for food and refreshments.
Food and wine was nice.
Good location for a travelling stop over and easy to find next to the N10. A comfortable overnight stay with an adequate Campanile restaurant. Hotel and restaurant staff were good.
Great access from N10, good parking next to room and easy walk into the old town. We really liked the eco aspect of the hotel, plus the grounds were ideal to walk our dog.
Location was good, parking was excellent, staff were great, food was good. Will come back next year as this hotel is fantastic for dogs, lots of space to run around.
