It's a village, no one bothers you. There's a garage for your car. I guess there are some interesting things around like a porch or an alpaca that is wandering outside - but I didn't have time to check them out.
There's an AC/heating in the room, might come in handy.
The propietary is really nice, speaks English enough to explain everything.
I would totally recommend for one person for one/two nights. For two people, still possible, the bed is big.

The hotel is conveniently located, close to the Autoroute A10, towards the city centre of Saintes. You will be able to park your car in the private car park.

I received a warm welcome at reception. My room, located in the annexe building behind the carpark, was very pleasant. It was bright and airy, with a balcony, a completely new bathroom, a kettle provided, and a very comfortable bed with quality bedding.
The hotel is only a couple of minutes drive from the A10, with plentiful free parking.
Saintes centre is only 5 mins drive (again with abundant free parking) and the historic centre is well worth a visit, even having a Gallic-Roman amphitheatre.

A nice room with a good bathroom. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. The garage parking was a real bonus and the location is right in the heart of Saintes. Lovely! We had our evening meal at La Terrasse and it was superb.
Breakfast was very good with excellent coffee.

It is a very large old farm complex with a variety of out buildings and facilities. The family owners are all wonderful people, extremely friendly and helpful, the rooms are clean, spacious and well decorated, the grounds are extensive including a small bar operating a Trust Bar system, pleantly of room the sit around, good sized pool area. childrens play area (for adults too) The shared kitchen area works well with plenty of space to prepare food and is always clean & tidy.
