It felt like staying at home, super cozy enviorment, and the staff was really nice, and charming. The house is a big property with a beautiful garden and a very authentic furniture.

We enjoyed visiting gorges, Cather castles and abbeys and walkings and driving in beautiful nature . We ate our dinner at Chamiere hotel and other hotel restaurant that served classic french course meals with very reasonable prices.

Quillan itself is beautiful town stay in, we watched the cycling and the whole town was very lively and fun! However, prepare yourself for a long drive to any kind of shop (shops in the town are hardly open during the day, and Sunday is a ghost town)! We were also unfortunate in our choice of parking; the market on Saturdays takes up two car parks and out of the right cars towed that morning ours was the only one dragged all the way to Limoux! Absolute nightmare with no transportation and a plane to catch that day!

Quillan is a small, relaxing town with everything you could need to enjoy your holiday. The local people are very friendly and try to help you if you do not speak French. It is well situated for trips to local castles, mountains and sporting activities, or just a great place to relax.

We stayed just outside of Quillan.
We stayed just outside of Quillan. The area itself is perfect for exploring the area. We hired a car. Near to Carcasonne, Perpignon & the pyrenees. So much beautiful scenery & castles etc. to explore. Lovely towns nearby ie. Foix, Limoux, Saint Girons
What a wonderful experience staying at the Maison d'Art. The appartment was very beautiful and the art was amazing. Our hosts were fantastic and very helpful, they even carried our very heavy luggage to our room! We had everything that we needed to enjoy our stay and the little kitchen was great to prepare and enjoy the fresh produce we bought from the market. I loved the spacious bedrooms and the beds were very comfortable. Close to the village centre, restaurants and the market. We would stay again.
Clive and Melissa are wonderful people, the best sort...and run this very nicely put-together B&B. They are warm and courteous hosts...helpful and accommodating. The room was as expected: not enormous, but comfortable with a decently-sized bathroom and ample closet space. Melissa's breakfasts were excellent and conversation with the hosts flowed easily. The B&B is perfectly located between the heart of the town and the cafes along the Aude. i would definitely stay again.
Very nice breakfast in a lovely environment. Very friendly hostess. I felt at home being able to put some things in the fridge. I appreciated the mountain view from my room and the location being near a walking trail as well as close to Quillan center. I enjoyed meeting the other guests who were either cycling or hiking the Cathar trail. I got the rest I needed after a long trip.
It's a lovely place to stay and has beautiful views, the hosts were amazing, helpful in every way, nothing was too much for them. I felt very much at home there and look forward to my next trip to Quillan La Vue. A big thank you to Lou and Steve, the hosts, for making my stay there, absolutely perfect. Linda
No faults found in this clean and comfortable, traditional hotel, perfectly placed in an idyllic, picturesque old town, with ample, free parking opposite. The room was spacious and spotless, staff were very friendly and helpful, the bed comfortable and breakfast very good. Fabulous scenery for miles around.

location is perfect, very central with lots nearby. property has everything you could need and is very comfortable. lots of DVD and book choices too for a rainy day. Bruno is a great host! I’d definitely recommend staying here.
When you choose a B+B at random anything can result. We feel we chose wisely being in a well appointed house with hospitable owners near the centre of the town. The breakfast was good.
