The pool is the main reason I booked and it’s a lovely size and clean with plenty of seating for guests staying in the 3 rooms. There’s a covered area at the back with a fridge/freezer containing various drinks and ice creams which you can purchase. Also a microwave/oven if you want to heat up food and there’s plates, cutlery glasses. The breakfast has lots of choice of fruit, bread, cereals, spreads etc. You can walk along the canal into La Rochelle in 45-60 minutes or go by bus. Valérie, Guilleme and their lovely Labrador Hulbert (hopefully I’ve spelled the names correctly) are very welcoming, helpful and friendly.

Première Classe La Rochelle Centre - Les Minimes is located 500 metres from the Vieux Port and 2 km from Minimes Beach. It offers free Wi-Fi access, a 24-hour reception and private parking at a fee.

You couldn't beat the location and view from the room. overlooking the harbour. We had warned the hotel we would be arriving late and they assured us the reception was manned 24/7, which was a great relief and staff were most helpful. Breakfast - both the setting and choice of food - was superb. Although it was only on the last day that we saw a member of staff in the kitchen cooking eggs to order. it was just a pity they didn't mention this was an option or we would have taken advantage.

Lovely hotel in a quiet little square really close to the old port / town with nice restaurants close by. Friendly, attentive staff and excellent pre-booked secure parking onsite for folks like us on a driving tour.

Located in the heart of historic La Rochelle, this hotel is set in a 16th century building just a 5 minute walk from the Old Port and local market.

We had an excellent stay at this hotel. It is modern, clean and comfortable and we would happily stay there again. The staff are brilliant, really helpful and easy to deal with. The on-site car park is very handy. About 5 minutes walk into the Old Port centre. Easily a 5 star hotel.
