We thoroughly enjoyed our one night stay and were made welcome when we arrived. The room was fantastic and nothing was too much trouble for our hosts. We booked for dinner and could not have been more pleased. The meal was delicious as was the breakfast. It is such a beautiful part of France. We highly recommend this property.

From the first moment we set foot on the property Marie and Mathieu made us feel right at home. They have done an exceptional job to turn an old sawmill into a fantastic vacation destination without losing the old charm of the building. Breakfast each morning was perfect. We were travelling with a small child the staff went out of their way to make sure the stay was also enjoyable for our child. Evening meals showcased the best of local ingredients. In short, I couldn't recommend Maison d'hôtes & SPA La Scierie highly enough. The cherry on top was the amazing pool, a lovely way to unwind after a busy day exploring all the locality has to offer.

The apartment has all the appliances you would need. It's clean and cozy, and perfect to spend even a week or two in the spa village of Salines les bains. The host was always quick to respond by text and even accommodated our request of an earlier check in. The apartment is also great value for money, and I would revisit it.

A quiet rural village with mostly old stone houses and an attractive church. It is lush and green at this time of year with the sound of dinging cow bells competing with bird song.
There is an impressive water fall just outside the village (about 15 minute walk) which is worth a visit.
There is a bar in the village which was open, but we did not visit it.
There is also a shop in the village which sells Comte cheese from the local fruitiere.
