Beautiful, calm setting, well equipped kitchen and everything needed for children. Super efficient self check in and exchanges with the owners. Staff greeting and service were excellent. The room was comfortable and cool despite the heatwave and no a/c. Large bathroom with excellent shower. Breakfast was very good.
We ate at the restaurant and the food was outstanding albeit pricey.

I booked in the afternoon shortly before my arrival, as the weather made camping less attractive, so I was pleased that the owner was at the guest house to meet me when I arrived. The place was handy as it was on the GR5 long distance path that I was walking, and considerable less expensive that the only other place in the village open at the time (April). Good sized room.

Walking through the snow, the sight of La Couronne beside the church was very welcome. Lady in charge was very helpful and I had a nice big room and access to a lounge. A little off the GR5 / E2 footpath I was walking but not too much. Handy for the Via Fracigena.
