Renovated village house. Very well done. Comfortable bed, great shower, everything you could need in the kitchen.
Photos don’t do it justice. It’s just great.

A really beautiful historic town/village, with a fantastic sense of having walked back to medieval times in the main square and two main streets.
Plenty of great places to eat (Restaurant Eleanore / Privilege du perigord / Bistrot 2), and a range of high quality arts, crafts, antiques and food shops on offer. Fantastic marklet too.

A beautiful bastide town with plenty to see and with numerous interesting shops and galleries. We really liked The Bastide Restaurant but there are several other excellent restaurants and coffee shops that we have tried in the past and have enjoyed. The weekly market is colourful and really interesting. This is one of our most favourite small towns in France.

Lovely bastide town Built In 1289 by the English.
Cited by le Corbusier as an ideal city design.
Cafes, restaurants, antique shops and easy distance from other bastides. (Sad to see lots of property for sale- will it sell for second homes or to sustain local jobs and people?)
Very safe and charming.

Lovely old village living up to the pictures we see.
Lovely old village living up to the pictures we see. Less ''touristy'' than others we visited. Only one eating option on the night, tapas style, with limited choice but nevertheless still good.

Had a fantastic stay in the Dordogne!
Had a fantastic stay in the Dordogne! Hope to be back soon - but you should fly into Bergerac! Drive to Bordeaux is on small roads and almost 3 hours. Next time we would stay closer to the river near Castlenaud. Don't miss Las Caux - definitely one of the wonders of the world. Not much to do or see in Monpazier but it is a cute walled town.

The small town is in a lovely area of the dordogne.
The small town is in a lovely area of the dordogne. It is one of the best remaining Bastide towns, loads of information as you walk round and the small museum well worth a visit. Lots of little shops bars restaurants and do try the brewery. Area round about a must is castle Beynac-et-Cazenac and then a trip on the river. But you really could find loads of places to visit or just enjoy the laid back tranquillity of Monpazier
Everything was perfect! The location for the village, great parking, the balcony with view where I sat daydreaming of owning a home there, the breakfast with every whim met, the hosts Edell and John who were the nicest people. Highly recommend this place - in fact it is the best I’ve stayed in since arriving and traveling around France 3 weeks ago - wish I had stayed longer as my next place is no where near the caliber of Edell’s.
Chantal’s property was lovely and very authentic. We stayed with our 2 boys, so used both bedrooms. Each room had a private bathroom just outside of the bedroom. The beds were very comfortable. Chantal was very friendly and helpful.
Breakfast consisted of a hot drink, fresh orange, croissants, bread and butter, jam and yoghurt. We were very well catered for.
We would definitely stay here again if visiting Monpazier
The location is perfect right in the picturesque Bastide town of Monpazier with all it's medieval french charm. The bars and restaurants are within easy walking distance. The hosts are fantastic and the breakfast was tailored to the Gluten free dietary requirements of my wife perfectly. The host Edèll even made us a "breakfast to go" when we had to depart early to catch our flight home.
Dog friendly with a perfectly secure garden for the dog to run free in. Lovely pool to dip in and cool down. Easy walking distance to lovely Bastille village of Monpazier with plenty to see and do, with tourist shops and restaurants. Francis met us and helped sort out the Wi-Fi. Comfy beds and an outside seating area.
The breakfast was excellent. The various options were beautifully presented. The entire hotel was in pristine condition. Every detail was considered. We dined in the restaurant and the meal was delicious. Montpazier is such a lovely little village. The hotel is gorgeous and comfortable.
The evening meal was sublime and the owners and all staff took the time to make it the most special of evenings. I could not recommend this hotel highly enough. Having travelled to many locations around the world this would rank in my top few and I shall certainly visit again.
Clean and spacious apartment in a perfect location. Mandy was a fantastic host, very helpful with booking restaurants and providing suggestions of what to do and where to go. Lovely having a swimming pool for our children. Would definitely recommend for a stay in Monpazier.
This accommodation is a little gem situated in the centre of Monpazier. The owner gave us such a warm welcome and made us feel very welcome. The accommodation was well equipped, kettle, tea, coffee and lots of nice treats. Just loved it will definitely return.
Fantastic hotel
the entire staff are there to take care of anything you might need
the hotel is perfect as a staging area to visit other areas for day trips
very comfortable with a fantastic breakfast and dinner restaurant
Has a Great Pool too
This is an absolute gem. The owners were so welcoming. The location is fantastic for spending time in Monpazier, and the Dordogne in general. The gîte is beautifully decorated and has all the comforts you could want. We had a wonderful week.
The staff on site was incredibley helpfull towards us and was always very fleixible if we were later then expected. I can recommend this lovely hotel to anyone who wants an authentic and sustainable location!
Very welcoming host with great communication. Fabulous location and very comfortable accommodations. She thought of everything!! This was a magical place and accomodation. A true highlight of our France trip.
it was a quirky place, but had a separate area to sit/eat and prepare snacks. it had a nice area outside to eat and relax. Nicole was very welcoming. good breakfast. Nott far to walk into Monpazier.
The house was a very short walk into town. The owner, Nicole was very welcoming, helpful and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. It was a peaceful and perfect position for our stay in Monpazier.
Breakfast was outstanding. Owner's customer service and her waitress' service was exceptional. Best in France we experienced over the 6 hotels we stayed in during this trip.
Such a charming luxurious place. Felt blessed to be welcome in this beautiful hotel. Great kind staff. Breakfast a little bit disappointing if you enjoy opulent buffets.
