Host was excellent and very helpful. Easy to find but you do need a car as nearest supermarket and shops 5km away. Very peaceful and great access to many Chateaux within 40 mins. Apartment very comfortable. Car park outside door so very good.

Lovely place with very nice staff. All very friendly and incredibly helpful but not pushy or interfering. We appreciated that fine balance.The spa was amazing, and breakfast was quite exceptional with lots of choice. All very good quality and local produce used wherever possible.

The room was large and comfortable. The swimming pool was very near our room. It was
clean, but the water was cold, even though the outdoor temperature was around 30 C.
The receptionist was charming. Breakfast was tasty and varied. On the first morning, we were the only guests.
On arrival to our room, we only had one hand towel, and one bath towel for my husband and myself. We ordered more and were served promptly, but it didnt give much confidence, taking into account that we were 2 persons, and we also intended to use the pool.

This is a great venue. The hosts is very attentive. The location is lovely, next to a stream and wooded area. Safe parking. Breakfast is fantastic. Home made yogurt, smoothy and pancakes. Local fresh produce used. Evening meal of an equally high standard. We have stayed here three times now. Consistently excellent.

Mesland is a lovely little traditional French village which is handy to the beautiful Loire chateaux but away from the busier tourist towns. We recommend the nearby Bistrot des Hauts de Loire and Le Clos Sainte-Marie.
