The location is staggeringly good. Such a surprise when we arrived: 14 tall stone crosses lined the approach road, and then the views! Amazing.

The medieval town of Dole is only a few miles away, and absolutely worth a visit.
The staff were super friendly, and the restaurant is excellent.
A perfect - and slightly unusual - stopover for us on our way home to the UK.

The hotel is a little dated but comfortable and in a good position very close to the pedestrianised centre of Dole. Our room and bathroom were a good size. The staff were friendly and helpful. We had a simple breakfast in the bar of the hotel for €8.
Because of roadworks the hotel’s parking was inaccessible but there is a public parking area across the road which is free. Spaces were in short supply but we managed to find parking there which was very convenient. We ate at Le Grévy, next door and had an excellent meal.
This 18th-century chateau is set in a 2.5 hectare park, at the gateway to Bourgogne. It offers architect-designed rooms and a heated outdoor swimming pool.

Biggest surprise of our trip. Only chose it as a practical staging post but wandered into a gourmets paradise. The restaurant has a Michelin star and everything is geared to the perfect culinary experience. Our room was exceptionally large and comfortable, the pool and views delightful and the staff simply couldn't do enough for us.

Easy access Center of town. Parked in road under arch to right of hotel. Triple Room 1 flight up was convenient. Very good breakfast for 22 euros for family of 4.

The apartment was clean, comfortable, and well situated with stunning views of the city. The added extra was the loft one level up where we had coffee. What a great place. Don't bring heavy or bulky luggage as you will climb 3 levels up in a narrow spiral staircase, but it's worth it. Safe Public parking about 200m away at 2€80 for overnight parking.Host sends you messages with step by step instructions. Make sure you get and read them. It's really very easy.
