The appartment under the roof was very spacious, nicely...
The appartment under the roof was very spacious, nicely decorated and well equipped for a comfortable stay. It gets a bit hot being under the roof, also the road outside can get pretty noisy. Nonetheless we slept very well and found our stay very pleasant. The garden is very big and has plenty of fruit trees in it. There is a communal terrace and a BBQ. Although there were other people staying in the house we had the BBQ to ourselves most nights. Downside: The location is very isolated and the surrounding villages display nothing of the famous French charme. There are no restaurants, cafes, shops or boulangeries anywhere in the vicinity. You definitely need a car here. As a family of 4 with 2 boys full of energy we had plenty of action-filled days and had a really good time but had to travel every day to get there. That got a bit tiring towards the end. Would I recommend the place? Yes, definitely. The positive things far outweigh the few not so perfect ones.AnjaGermany
