Fantastic trip, the gite was exactly what we expected, a farm, not too far from a restaurant, and shops. The accomodation was what we wanted, quiet, not bothered by anybody unless we needed assistance. The facilities were perfectly clean, shower was always hot, all appliances worked perfectly. Our host Garance looked after us perfectly, anything we needed she provided. Our trip was to view a derelict property I had purchased, and Garance found contractors and hired them for me, she has been a perfect contact for me, for which I will always be thankful, I can't say enough about how the gite worked out for my plans, I can highly recommend the Gite de la Lioterie.

The village is absolutely delightful and the hotel well situated to enjoy it. Dinner on the Tuesday was enjoyable: a well selected if not adveturous menu for a limited staff.

Quirky and original decor with oil paintings. Very comfortable bed with lovely bedding. Lounge also comfortable. Host met us and showed us around. Excellent powerful shower.

It was a converted farmhouse which has been renovated to a very high standard and we stayed in a separate converted building in the grounds which had two large en-suite bedrooms and a comfortable lounge. The pool and hot tub were available for us to use. It was well appointed , clean and very comfortable.

The hotel really exceeded our expectations. The host was extremely helpful and thoughtful, the room was lovely and the hotel grounds and views are exceptional. This is a really picturesque village with everything you would need, and the hotel is situated by a beautiful bit of the river. The garden and pool are are beautiful, the room had everything you would need. We had a lovely stay and wouldn't hesitate to come back! It's also very easy to get to by public transport, which was a plus for us.

Wonderful find.. spotless and very comfortable. breakfast was good quality on all counts - fresh baked goods, freshfruit and excellent drinks. would stay there again without hesitation. great hosts too.
