The location was very rural and peaceful. The breakfast was varied and interesting, featuring local produce. Our room was very spacious and well equipped with plenty of wardrobe space to hang clothes. Lovely views over the front and back of the house. The house was beautifully furnished, which enhanced our visit.

The Rive Sud is a beautiful family-run bed & breakfast in walking distance to the charming little town of Chinon. It is located near the bike route "la Loire à Vélo". All rooms are clean and tastefully decorated. We could leave our bicycles in safe shelter on the premises. Breakfast is lovely with homemade yogurt, fresh bread and viennoiseries. Rudy and Mathieu are very nice and happy to help finding a good restaurant nearby. They did everything to make our stay an unforgettable experience - thank you so much for your hospitality!

Warm welcome by friendly owners/ staff, great rooms with great views, everything very clean. Homemade food with a good spread of tasty sounding choices - we both had the lamb shank and it was excellent!! Stefan nd team going a great job ~ I will certainly stay there again, when next in the area.
