The hotel had lovely views over the countryside. We ate in the restaurant where the local champagne was cheaper than the red wine.

Liked the location in a small town.
Large bedroom, but not much in it. No kettle or coffee making in the room.
Friendly staff.

We arrived at the hotel to find an excellent, safe parking area, albeit with only one other car in sight. The reason for this became clear when we were told that the management of the hotel had only taken over ownership a few days before our stay. The first bedroom we were allocated had packets of half-eaten food left in the mini frig but when we drew attention to this they were removed immediately and we were allocated a different room by a very apologetic Alyssia. Extra towels were also brought straightaway when we asked for them.
On our arrival we discovered that the hotel restaurant would not be open that night but after discussion a booking was immediately made for us at a restaurant a few minutes drive away. We were also offered a drink from the bar as recompense for the temporary closure.
The breakfast was very basic, but again, I am sure that was because of the major changeover of the ownership of the hotel, and having spoken to the proprietors I am convinced that they will soon be running a thoroughly top class establishment.
Les Riceys is a charming village. We visited for both the road biking and the champagne, and neither disappointed us. This was our third visit to Champagne and we will certainly return, perhaps even to Les Riceys and La Ptit Lazz.
Le Marius hotel is a little gem of a hotel in a quiet village in the southern Champagne region. The room we had was spacious, comfortable and very peaceful. The breakfast room and lounge are tastefully decorated and there is a bar on the ground floor with tables outside on the square in front of the church. The restaurant is excellent with delicious local food and a good wine list. The service was friendly and professional.
It is a little off the beaten track but definitely worth a detour!
The hotel is situated in a very pretty village which we enjoyed strolling around. We liked the breakfast. We also liked the fact we could buy Champagne to take away at a very reasonable price. We enjoyed the restaurant in the cellar - an attractive location and the food was good.
This hotel has a very peaceful location and is in an ideal position when travelling to the south, or returning. The restaurant is very good, two of our group said the meal was one of the best of the holiday. we look forward to returning next year
We left too early for breakfast but the trays of croissants going into the dining room looked lovely!
The triple town/village was a surprise find and so lovely so that enchanted us before we looked at the hotel and then it was a lovely evening.
Fabulous hotel in beautiful village. A hidden gem. Lovely staff and fantastic food. On a road trip with my daughter. This is great stopover on route to the Alps. Highly recommend staying here.
very nice bedroom: lovely room, big and spacious - with ensuite. Room 11 at the very top.
parking available nearby on street - no need to pay at hotel.
