Beautiful hotel in the heart of the town. Despite being delayed by ferry crossing the staff were exceptionally welcoming and ensured that we had a comfortable stay. The rooms were very comfortable and clean and the breakfasts were really good.

At nearly 230 euros for 1 night I suppose I expected a slightly better room, but it was a last minute booking. Our room was basically a posh shed with shared communal inner-courtyard patio - the room had painted wooden planking on the walls. However, in fairness, the room was beautifully furnished and was spotlessly clean with a very comfortable large bed - we actually really enjoyed our quirky overnight stay. The hotel boasts a Michelin starred chef and together with some Japanese chefs produce a Breton / Japanese fusion menu. We ate from the snack menu in the bar which was not great however - my Caesar salad was pretty poor and my partner's foie gras was served on it's own without toast - this was pointed out to the embarrassed waiter who returned with a bread basket containing a variety of rolls and some slices of bread that had been warmed but certainly not toasted ! The swimming pool was very nice and the staff exceptional !
