The hotel really exceeded our expectations. The host was extremely helpful and thoughtful, the room was lovely and the hotel grounds and views are exceptional. This is a really picturesque village with everything you would need, and the hotel is situated by a beautiful bit of the river. The garden and pool are are beautiful, the room had everything you would need. We had a lovely stay and wouldn't hesitate to come back! It's also very easy to get to by public transport, which was a plus for us.

The village is absolutely delightful and the hotel well situated to enjoy it. Dinner on the Tuesday was enjoyable: a well selected if not adveturous menu for a limited staff.

Lovely building and surroundings which I fortunately had for myself, I particularly enjoyed my walk around the park, and the breakfast was impressive for just one person. Enjoyed chatting with the friendly owner too.

It was a converted farmhouse which has been renovated to a very high standard and we stayed in a separate converted building in the grounds which had two large en-suite bedrooms and a comfortable lounge. The pool and hot tub were available for us to use. It was well appointed , clean and very comfortable.

We had a wonderful stay there and we would have stayed even longer. The accommodation was beautifully renovated and lovingly furnished. We (my husband and my daughter (15 years)) sat outside in the evening and enjoyed the silence and the stars. We want to recommend this accommodation.
