A wonderful discovery hidden away in this underestimated part of the Alps. We particularly enjoyed the view from the room, the breakfast, and the advice on activities to do in the region.

Great base to explore mountains and forests, we went during the summer and there was lots to explore. We would recommend hiking mount colombier in particular - stunning views of mont blanc from the summit. We ate at Chez Cyrille (le noyer) and Auberge des Clarines and both were superb. Easy to get to by train from london, we hired a car in Chambery to get to AIllon-le-jeune and roads were all fine.
