Showers and toilets in the camp ground extremely well kept and clean, thanks you. Small cottage as expected but great and comfy for coupe persons. Small fridge and coffee maker are great. Terrace is lovely if weather is good. Maybe the spider webs could be cleaned from small windows. Read previous comments and brought own mosquito mesh and pinned it to the small window to keep air coming in.
Salo is a small place with everything essential. It has pharmacies, shopping malls, restaurants, a river, and a McDonald's, to begin with. It is stunning in autumn. It may not be a place with lots of entertainments, but is just suitable for a relaxing weekend trip, with affordable accommodation and restaurants, and discounts in the shopping mall.

Salo is a small town between Turku & Helsinki.
Salo is a small town between Turku & Helsinki. Not much to do in downtown Salo, unless you like pubs and kebab restaurants. Lots of beautiful nature nearby Salo and you can enjoy Teijo national park's offering a quick car drive away. A few privately own restaurants in town, which I definitely recommend!

Salo is a nice, small town, almost everything is the city centre area next to the river. If you have a car, you can visit manor area Wiurila (10 mins) and maybe some of the golf courses (Salo, Halikko, Teijo). Teijo area is 30 mins drive and provides many attractions. The best restaurants are Kastu (main street) and Seurahuone (near the railway station). Both the railway and bus stations are in the center, so you do not need necessarily a car for coming to Salo. Turku is nearby (40 mins along the motorway).
Wonderful small inn. It was even more interesting when I learned about its history as a small home, but you could see how that is evident in the design of the main part of the inn. We used this as a base for exploring Turku and Helsinki and would absolutely recommend it. While we didn’t spend a lot of time at the hotel, it seems to be a good location for that, with nice relaxing space indoor and outdoor.
The hotel located in the shopping mool near the town center - 10 min walk to visit some cafe or restaraunts. Free car parking. Good WiFi. You can use the electric ketle with can and tast coffe or tea. Possibility to use sauna and training center for free.
A quiet hotel complex right by the lake, short ride to Teijo and Mathildedal. Seems to be mostly frequented by seniors so it's very quiet. Stuff was friendly, breakfast standard. Look out for the weapon collection in their basement!
The breakfast was decent, albeit the selection was narrow. The sauna and spa were quite decent, although I didn't check whether the swimming pool was heated or not. The hotel had a nice cozy atmosphere and the personnel was great!
The staff were so friendly. the location was excellent, right on the Eurovelo 10 route. it was very interesting that the hotel was the original house of the person who developed the Erickson tv’s and phones.
Generally a nice, quiet and clean hotel with comfortable beds and a nice lake view from the hotel room balcony. Mostly elderly visitors in this hotel which means a quiet and peaceful stay.
Good facilities ( kitchens, toilets, cafe). Cozy room and the beach just right next to it. The location is really easy accessible by car and Salo town next to it.
Affordable hotel in Salo close to the railway station. Rooms with good size. Staff of Rata57 cafeteria was exceptionally kind. By far the best of the stay.
