A warm welcome and comfortable rooms in a characterful lodge right by the main road (check out the wolf when you walk into the restaurant!) There is a large terrace at the rear with steps leading down to a lake which (had it not been raining when we stayed) would be a lovely place to enjoy a drink. Breakfast was a 'make your own' affair but lots choice (cereals / coffee / sandwiches) available.

The setting was beautiful. From my balcony I looked over lawns and the lake. The grounds are large and have lake access, a pond, a sensory garden and a great little cafe serving waffles. They lead onto a trail which takes you to the lovely art centre and forest museum at Lusto. The layout of the interior shows clearly it was a former hospital, but it's given charm by the old photos, tiny lounges, art deco staircases and nooks and crannies. My room was furnished with quality period furniture.

Great remote location in a very spacious and well set out cottage.
This privately owned villa sits on a scenic location by Lake Simpele and features a large lake view terrace and 2 balconies. There is also a private wood heated sauna and hot tub available for guests....
