I liked the friendliness of the staff. The hostal was clean and comfortable. I felt very safe there as a solo traveller. The menu was explained very well and I really enjoyed my dinner.There was a map left in my room of Astorga and it provided a wide range of information for me. We are a group of friends walking the Camino de Santiago. We finished in Astorga last year and stayed in this hotel. We came back to Astorga this year and booked the same hotel as we enjoyed the hotel so much last year. It is a beautiful and relaxing hotel. We were only sorry we couldn't stay for longer.
