The location of the accommodation was down an alley with pubs and restaurants which added to the ambience. I enjoyed having a patio off my room even though it was cold and slightly wet . It was easy to locate the Camino path from the accommodation.

While we stayed in Furelos, we were a short walk to Melide. We loved the food especially the octopus at Garnacha. Additionally, we enjoyed visiting St. Anthony Chapel. There are many stores should you need to pickup supplies on your Camino route.

The grounds and the building are in a phenomenal state, are extraordinarily well cared for. The floor and wall tilework, the bathroom fittings, and the windows are of extraordinary quality. There is a small pool in the back for use by guests. No food on the property, but many restaurants nearby. The property is set back two blocks form the main road cutting through the town. My room had a little balcony that gave me a nice peek at the wine zone action in Melide, with dozens of bars to eat tapas and drink awesome wine within footsteps of the pension. The hotel was also very close to the Camino way.
