This is one of the nicest places we have stayed, ever. The setting is beautiful and the apartment a gem. Whoever chose the colours of the furnishings has a rare idea for colour. Everything was comfortable & well thought out. As an added bonus, the restaurant is just along the passageway.

Old roman road hiking up to the castle is must do. Horse riding downhill exceeds expectations. Dinner in the castle is really enjoyable. Stay in the medieval house is a very interesting option for one max two nights due to the level of comfort modern peope are used to.

In the whole hotel parts of the actual building structure can be seen. Lovely vibe. Got the best room with an excellent view and a tiny terrace overlooking at the reservoir. super silent nights, great to relax during the day. The restaurant (in the castle) and the bar (in the hotel, again with lovely views) are also nice to have on site. They provide a quick basic breakfast - good to have, considering the very few rooms.
