Terrible experience!!! Would really like a response from booking.com because we were treated so badly. One, the reception wouldn't help us with any information about where we were staying and what we needed to enter the room, just over a speaker system told us to go to room 16 and 17, it was opened electronically but we weren't given a key or any instructions. At 1am a stranger came into my room, I am a single woman and was totally terrified.. it seems the reception double booked the room. But what danger that could have put me in!!! And to add to that, my friends who had the room next door, also had a stranger walk in on them at 2am. When we complained in the morning to the speaker receptionist he told us he wouldn't help and told us to contact booking.com. when I looked at the app, he had immediately cancelled his booking saying we hadn't shown. I have proof we were there, I connected to the TV in the room so I can send screenshot that I was in the room. They are liars and cheated us out of our money, as well as putting us in dangerous situations opening our private rooms to strangers in the middle of night.

I had a blast at Hostal Alayka Hotel in Spain! The rooms were so clean, I could have eaten off the floor (but let's be real, I wouldn't want to waste a good meal like that). The furnishings were simple, but it gave me an excuse to live like a minimalist for a little while. The host was friendly and welcoming, even though he only spoke Spanish. I had to brush up on my poor Spanish, but it was worth it for the laughs.

The room was clean, comfortable and had a beautiful view of a garden. Personnel was polite and friendly and gave good tips about what to visit. Breakfast was very good.

excellent place for both accommodation per-se, location and price.
it's one of those two-star hotels that -in reality- is three stars, though may not be because of the older look of the façade...
furthermore, the [female] receptionist that welcomed and greeted us upon arrival was superbly courteous, informative and kind. she even provided us with a map and indicated a nice and simple route to cover the core sightings - including a affordable, local places to eat and have a coffee :-)

Welcome pastry and iced water in reception was a nice touch. Room had a large balcony with furniture. Location great, straight out on to a paseo which circles the main centre. 10 minute walk to Plaza Mayor, very impressive. Underground parking for the motorbike was a definite plus. Breakfast lovely.
This a motel, not hotel. Bed and parking only.
No food available unless you walk approximately 5mins along an unlit main road. Restaurant closes at 6pm on a Sunday.
Check in is done remotely via an intercom and camera. If you do not understand or speak Spanish you are on a hiding to nothing.
Positives: Parking is guaranteed and very secure.
This is our first time of staying since Covid and we will not be returning after our experience this time.

Security. We were driving through Spain to Portugal and had a lot of stuff in the car. The way this hotel gives you your own garage and secure unit is brilliant. Perfect for people travelling who just want to recharge batteries before continuing their journey.
Very clean, pleasant helpful staff, amazing garage facilities, the concept of this hotel is amazing, our fully loaded car was safe and secure, it was very easy
Overall we were very very happy
