Hotel grounds -olive trees, orange and mandarin trees, pomegranate trees, lavender, rises, yucca, get the image. Spectacular sunset. We had our own private terrace in the shade too. Easy to get from granada station-tram then bus-bus won’t take cards or contactless. Sort before getting on. Short bus ride from Hotel to Granada and up hill to Monachil-a must for walkers. A bit of a gem of a place

We decided to pay the parking at La Alhambra and go by car, which was great as it is in a short distance from the hotel and it saved us suffering the 40 degrees temperature, at least until we could. The room was big and comfortable, breakfast was very complete with some local produce, which was a bonus. We also loved the pool.

It is an amazing, family run hotel close to Granada, so perfect if you have a car. There’s a bus to Granada city centre and the lovely staff at the hotel have timetables printed out. Our room was spacious and had a little courtyard on the ground floor. Breakfast is excellent and we also had dinner there twice and it was delicious. Highly recommended.

I think the cherries, apricots and the orange juice are from the trees in the hotel small garden. Some dishes are also homemade and delicious.
