Very nice spacious apartment, with forest and sea view from balcony. Really close to a nice beach, just outside the apartment. Beach had a beautiful pier to stay on, restaurant and beach bar. Very quiet place.

Bayahibe small and cozy, easy to drive, we were there to look for possible place to live. However the europeans have locked up the town and are building many apartment complex's for tourism. Too expensive to rent or buy in Bayahibe. Nice place to visit at Villa Baya for 4 days and that is it. 30 tour bus's bring in 2000 people daily from all over to go on catamaran tours, particularly to Isla Saona I suspect, as well as the scuba business. When the apartment complexs are finished in the next 2 to 3 years, Bayahibe is going to be totally overcrowded I suspect. I asked about snorkel tour for a couple hours. $150 usd!!!!! OUCH!! I am a snorkeler as well as a dedicated swimmer.

This is a very safe feeling small village.
This is a very safe feeling small village. We never felt unsafe as we walked around during days or nights. The restaurants along the waterfront served great food at very reasonable prices. Most of the waitstaff do not speak English which made for a bit of fun. I highly recommend taking a full day trip to Saona Island if you are traveling to Bayahibe.

Bayahíbe is an excellent place.
Bayahíbe is an excellent place. Nice view and it is closer from the SDQ airport than Punta Cana. The beach was pretty safe and there is a lot of security staff all around the place. No problem with that. The beach is not too salty, and the sand is clean and white. I really liked Bayahíbe.IVAN LORADominican Republic

The staff are amazing, the place is really cool and frequented by international travelers from all over the world. The services are the top: the swimming pool, air conditioning, bathroom with hot water, smart TV, a beautiful garden and a restaurant with quality food at fair prices! Main bar the same, nobody is serving you. I am tired also writing this review. Paying 400 usd/night , you need to offer much more. There is a nice public beach. If you like privacy and nature you can walk by the sea. There are very clean apartments in Villa Luna, a few options of breakfast, small and clean pool. The best staff and owners! They are very friendly and helpful people. You can speak there English,French, Italian and Spanish. I recommend this accommodation!
