Waterfront area is hyped as a great place to hang out but wasn't really much. The Altstadt is unremarkable. Walked down the main pedestrian street in the evening and felt that it was now just a place for people to ride scooters and hang out. Not very pleasant. Mullheim is mostly a commuters town. It does not offer much by itself. Our primary reason to stay here was to save money but it turned out it wasn't exactly cheap to say the least. You also need to realise that on Sundays almost everything is closed.BasNetherlands - 10Scored 10

It's a quiet town so don't expect pumping night life. You can walk about safely and the locals are very friendly. There is a good mix of food options and services. A car is needed for easy connections to other parts of Germany.

It is a lovely big town with plenty of shops and lots of bars and restaurants. Also traditional German eateries of good quality. The river nearby is worth a visit with its boats , wildlife ( geese with their young ones) and easy walking.
