The host although we haven't met in person was very responsive via booking.com app. We stayed in room number 4 which was very comfortable. We used the shared kitchen only for the breakfasts but it was very well equipped and on the same level as our room which was very comfortable. We had coffee and breakfast on the terrace with the mountain views. The guest house and the rooms are very stylish and the property is very well maintained. We couldn't find fault with it. The location is great to get to the Konigsee and cable car for a couple of walks. We enjoyed the view of the cows on the field from our own balcony.

Basic, but quite spacious apartment, on the first floor, with an idyllic view on the mountains, a nice garden with joint bbq and a small river running behind the house, that you can enter with stone stairs.
Location is excellent, close to Berchtesgaden, Königssee, Salzburg, ...
Although the apartment comes without WiFi, there was some in the kitchen, that functionned well enough to plan our trips.

Location is great (if you have a car), close to Berchtesgaden and the Eagles Nest but away from where the majority of tourists stay. There is a fantastic restaurant next door to the hotel. I'd recommend making a reservation. Staff are friendly and helpful, free parking available, room was clean and a good size and the place was clean throughout. Depending on what side you are on the views are fantastic!

Gasthaus Elvira is located cost to buy connections and also with great views of mountains such as watzmann. Several hiking opportunities directly from the stay. Also good for short trip to Salzburg, Königsee etc. Breakfast was extensive and plentiful. Rooms were very cozy. Hosts make sure that we are happy and gave us hiking tips. I would recommend it again.
My boyfriend and I planned a trip to Königssee but almost every hotel was booked, so we chose one of the last rooms available here! Our room was spacious, clean, and had everything we needed to cook breakfast, lunch, and dinner (oven, utensils, microwave, dishwasher, pots/pans, toaster, etc.).
Check-in was super easy and efficient which made the traveling process less stressful! Overall, I would recommend staying here if you’re planning to make your own meals and we would definitely stay here again.
We could choose rolls, pretzels and many more for delivery to our apartment door in the morning.
In Germany, recycling is very confusing to me. This was not a problem, because the hostess helped me with this. It actual was very educational.
After a long day of hiking and sightseeing, the outdoor pool was wonderful! The pool was totally covered when the weather was bad and could be opened when the weather was nice. The grounds were exceptionally taken care of with several seating areas.
Beautiful location, right at the foot of the ski slope by the lift. The breakfast was good and plenty of it. The rooms were spotless. The mattresses were firm and the beds spacious. The bathroom was big and exceptionally clean.
The Hotel as well as the rooms were not brand new, but maintained very well.
They accommodated our dog. (We had our breakfast in the great room, as dogs can not enter the room with the open buffet, which is understandable)
The cows add to the rustic charm of it.
We absolutely loved our stay at Watzmann. The window mountain views and location were breathtaking. Berchtesgaden was our favourite town we have ever been to. We were welcomed to the apartment with open arms, shown where everything was, and were given advice on local visits we wanted to do. We knew she would have been right there for us should we have needed anything. The apartment was extremely clean and we wished we could have stayed for longer.
Lovely host was very welcoming and sweet. Answered all my questions and loaned me a map of the area. Very relaxing and quiet area a bit out of town for a nice farm feeling. I loved that I was told which cows my milk came from, who made the home baked bread, that the on property chickens laid the eggs I had for breakfast and she even sold me a jar of local honey. Such a personal touch was a welcome respite from hotels.

- The apartment was clean and very comfortable. The owners were welcoming and helpful.
- The pension has house rules which all quests followed thanks to that staying was relaxing and quiet. I really appreciate it.
- The house is localized in the breathtaking scenery. I would say they have the best windows view in the entire Bischofswiesen. We'll be coming back for sure.
Spacious rooms with a balcony and a good view. As the breakfast was included in the price it is a welcome add-on, but not worth paying additionally for. Not directly in Berchtesgaden but close enough to all the main attractions in the area making the hotel a good staging point for trips if you have a car.
Had a great stay here! It's not always easy to find family rooms on vacation, but this place was perfect. It's very peaceful and at a great location to tour the sites (Eagles Nest, Konigsee, Watzmann Therme, Salt Mine Berchtesgaden). Would definitely stay here again.
Loved our stay in this wonderful guesthouse. Beautiful room with balcony. Very clean and comfortable. Didn’t feel like a hotel it felt like a home away from home. We also had dinner in the pub downstairs which was also 10/10. Our favourite accommodation yet this trip!
Very good!!!
Very nice owners. They helped us what to visit in Berchtesgaden Land. Also where to go skiing in Austria.
Very large apartment. Beautiful view from the window. Silence, nature, peace - great for relaxation. Thank you again. We highly recommend it!
It is wooden style building, which creates a homey and comfortable atmosphere. The staff team is smiling and friendly. Breakfast is good especially they offer different kind of tea. Surround the hotel, you can do outdoor activities.
Friendly staff, beautiful hotel grounds and clean, spacious rooms in a new building. The breakfasts were monotonous, but delicious. Guest cards for cheaper parking were very useful for us.
