Nicosia's old town is fascinating and safe to walk around day and night. Nicosia also has an excellent cheap bus service. Locals are friendly and helpful if you need directions. Many Cypriots speak English. And of course the Greek Cypriot food is delicious and reasonably priced.

Besides, almost always great weather, very nice people, and delicious food, 1 - to 2 days in Nicosia is enough to walk around and check out the sightseeing. I recommend passing through the border to the Turkish side and shopping a bit in the Turkish Bazar (the ladies will like POSH Handbags & Shoes shop) and eating at the local restaurants. Have a Turkish coffee.

Nicosia is a very unique and historic City.

Nicosia is a very unique and historic City. Famously it is still a divided city and it is possible to visit Northern Nicosia which is under Turkish Occupation since the 1970s. There are many very interesting and fairly unique sites to visit on both sides of the border. Nicosia is both a very modern city and has also a very old and picturesque sector. The fact that it has a patrolled border, the Green Line, running through it makes it a very memorable experience. There are many restaurants and tavernas of variable quality in the town. Sadly there are way too many fast food outlets, but there are also some traditional tavernas serving fresh local delicacies. However my main criticism would be, as a vegan, I found it very difficult to find places that catered for me.

The southern city center is very small--you can easily walk from end to end multiple times in a day of sightseeing--but it is a pleasant mix of developed tourist streets, colorful quaint residential streets, abandoned buildings and weird more or less closed shops with display windows full of junk. The center is worth a day. A second day is best spent on the Turkish side or in nature at the city outskirts.

The apartment is spacious, bright, and airy and very well decorated and spotless when it comes to cleanliness. More amenities are usually offered by any other place. Taking the price into consideration this is an extremely good find. The location is right in the heart of nicosia and close to all sides of the center. The host is incredibly kind and willing to help and go the extra mile to make sure the guests are happy and have everything they need. Something that is scarce nowadays, and i really appreciate it

The hotel is located on the edge of the old town and is easily accessible by car. There are several parking spaces all around (pay). The public area of the hotel is very nice and modern. When it comes to the rooms, the corridors are very narrow and the lift does not go to every floor. Stairs are not for tall people, you can easily bump your head. The rooms seem very tight, my bathroom had a step in the middle of the room. The breakfast was good, there was a lot of choice.

Great staff, amazingly friendly and helpful people at the desk - they honestly know all the best places to see and dine in the city :) Best staff ever!!! :) bedroom was ok, en-suite under a sloping roof but comfortable; nice breakfasts, small snacks and beverages available for free and all day long; free city maps; free bikes for rental (you might need them if you want to get to the city centre although there's a bus stop very close to the hotel too), secure parking behind the hotel

The staff members were extremely nice, friendly and helpful. The hotel is in the center of the old town. Still our room on the 3rd floor was very quiet. Everything was very clean. I appreciated the pure oats at the breakfast buffet (In most hotels they just offer highly sugared and proceeded cereal versions). We got more than expected for a 2 star hotel.

Location--it was an easy 3- block walk to the Old Town, a 4 - block walk to the Cyprus Museum. I parked my car and never used it during my 4 day stay; I was able to walk everywhere. Apartment had lots of room(s) and kitchen was fully equipped for cooking and snacking. AND there was a washing machine in the apartment along with iron and ironing board.

Lovely property, very clean , modern building and excellent parking. Breakfast choice very good and delivered fresh and hot to your table. Not far from city centre , 8 euro taxi to Leda street. You don’t need to be right in the centre of town to be close to the action. Would definitely recommend this hotel. Lovely staff and very helpful.

The location was great for my main purpose with the stay, as it was close to the University of Nicosia. Staff was also mostly available when I had issues. The air conditioning was great. Bed was done and towels changed every day. Got extra towels when I asked. Ants were at one incident taken care of.

It was ok but not the best stay we had in Cyprus. Breakfast was minimal. Kitchen looked great. We cooked our own eggs in the microwave because the cooker did not work. It was all ok, close to town where we saw the museum, the park and we walked through the old town. Great view from the tower.
