Excellent location with a short walk to a quiet corner of Coco beach and some delightful restaurants. The mature gardens and pool area were well kept and never crowded. Our room was spacious and comfortable Breakfast each morning was unfussy and enjoyable. We liked the nice touch of the provision of two camp chairs for use on the beach. Sitting under a tree by the beach in the morning before the heat of the day was a real joy. The staff were really friendly and helpful.

The timing of our visit was great.
The timing of our visit was great. No crowds but hot, hot, hot and humid. April 27-May 3. Because so many people visit Costa Rica, the cost of food and just about everything isn't reasonable. We ate at the well known local restaurants which were expensive but good. Too much butter used with the fish, though I should have insisted on braised fish. We ate at Mar Azul. The Mexican restaurant was good. Note, for those who just jump in the car and pick a destination, beware that all the roads aren't paved. We went to Nosara and man-oh-man, though driving but ABSOLUTELY scenic. Glad we had a 4X4 and good ground clearance.

It is a family situation, very very basic.
It is a family situation, very very basic. Clean with a kitchen that had no cooking utilities other than a coffee maker & fridge that did not work.
I had a cooler, my own cooking supplies etc so it worked for me.
Radio & Tv could be a bit loud but shut down early.
I have lived in Latin America, so I understand a family situation where many may not!
I loved the hostess! I love the proximity to the beach in the downtown and if you don’t have a vehicle to get around, it’s perfect for that and super inexpensive! Bonuses for travellers who don’t want to be a hostel

Costa Rica is beautiful and the people are friendly and lovely to get to know. There are options for those who are active - think hiking through the rainforest, fishing, surfing or for relaxing - think sitting by the pool or ocean with a good book. The shopping is fun. There are animals and beautiful nature - volcanos, waterfalls, flowers to surround yourself with.

Easy drive from Liberia Airport.
Easy drive from Liberia Airport. The town is small enough to be friendly and just large enough to have what you need. The beach is nicely maintained and easy to access. The people was very friendly and although the language is Spanish, we didn't have any problems communicating.

Amazing views from the hills.
Amazing views from the hills. This is a quieter town but plenty of businesses to keep you entertained. CocoNutz and Zi Lounge are the most lively spots for night life. A variety of restaurants including Mexican, Italian, Indian, Mediterranean, BBQ and burgers. MegaSuper for groceries (had everything including liquor). I would happily stay here again.

Nice place to stay and relax.
Nice place to stay and relax. It has nice beachfront restaurants and nice cafes.
In Coco I ate at Café Corazón, went for gelatto, ate at El Capricho Mexican Restaurant, at Tortuga, and at El Ancla. Then went further out to Ocotal, and visited Father Rooster on a Wednesday and there was live music which was great. Then visited Hermosa and had a drink during sunset at Aqua Sport. All are nice spots. Ideal if you have a car!
Great location, a beautiful hotel, directly across from the beach. Walkable into town, secure parking, and the room was cozy and sweet just as I'd hoped after a long day of travel. I lived in CR for 5 years until recently, and this hotel exceeded my expectations. Very clean, well-appointed, and spacious, with a window in my room facing the ocean right across the street. I really recommend the hotel itself.
The staff was some of the nicest people we ran into across our whole stay in Costa Rica. The location is outside of town, and town isn’t chaos by any means but it’s by far the best place on the beach in playas del coco. The vibe of the hotel is very chill and restaurant set up is gorgeous! The pool area is lovely and the pool man was very thorough of keeping it clean.
The host is SO KIND and helpful. The location was great: on a quiet street but very close to the beach and main street. The room is a bedroom in a shared, Costa-Rica-style house, so it gives the feel of a more local stay (as opposed to foreign-styled hotels). There's also a kitchen guests can use, which helped us save money (Playa del Coco is expensive!!!).
perfect service with drinks around the Pool. Very nice pools with warm temperatures. Food was good and drinks where nice. I was a bit worrierd about the road condition to the hotel. However, really easy to drive. Some holes on the street but nothing to worry about. i recommend the hotel!
Air conditioner blows cold in every room. I loved the pool, So nice! Walking distance to the beach. The ambiance of the villa definitely gave vacation vibes. There was food and store close by. About a 12-15 minute walk to the coco beach strip with all the bars/restaurants!
Luis at the front desk was the best! He was very helpful with advice and recommendations. Great location, very close to the Coco Beach. Breakfast was very good. They have a restaurant on site for lunch and dinner, as well. high quality food. Cleaning services were great.
Loved the pool and the staff were really friendly and accommodating. The location was great, right by a quiet part of the beach. The grounds are really well looked after. Lovely cat!
Everything was walkable to the hotel and it felt quiet, safe and peaceful.
The location is fantastic. Especially if you scuba dive, as the boat is right in front of the hotel. The upstairs deck is really nice, so we did not spend much time in our rooms. And you have the world's largest swimming pool right in front.
Everthing , food was amazing , we have avery strict diet we always suffer when we out , here it was no issue , the view from our room was breathtaking , alot of things to do , this is the best all inclisive hotel in guanacaste with no doubt
The staff are very friendly. They do an exceptional job keeping everything clean: rooms, grounds, pool. The location is perfect, very close to restaurants, coffee shops and a 10 minute walk to Main Street Playa del Coco.
Pool, Trivia Night, grocery on site. The owner was very nice and helpful. The hotel is located less than 100 meters from the beach area, which was nice. Also 150 meters from the main street for shopping.
Wonderful pool! Only a few blocks from the beach, If I am in Playa del Coco in the future I will be staying here! Very friendly welcome to the property and was quick to reply to my questions on WhatsApp.
Tasty breakfast with four choices for variety. Good air conditioning and space in room. Great location in Coco for walking to beach or the main street resturants.
Laura was an amazing host, very friendly and welcoming.
The place is clean, and located at the heart of coco, 5 min walk to the beach.
