Vito Hotel Boutique, hotel in Taganga

Located in Taganga, within 400 metres of Taganga Beach and 400 metres of Playa de Taganga, Vito Hotel Boutique provides accommodation with a garden and free WiFi throughout the property as well as...

As it's a little bit up from town it's ideal for a good night's sleep, away from the blaring music on the beach. Just don't be put off by the unpaved road and narrow alley that crosses a ditch. There are lovely views of the sea from the terraces. Laura, who speaks English, was extremely helpful. She walked us to the bank and arranged our excursions to the beach. Her lovely mother prepared the excellent breakfasts. They really make you feel welcome.

Beach area and main street along the lagoon trashy but looks beautiful from afar. Two restaurants nice, clean and relaxing others I would not consider. No shops to poke your head into that look inviting. 1 day as a pass through would be enough time but not as a destination. I stayed at Techos Azules overlooking lagoon area and a short walk to the beach/lagoon area which is ideal. If you stay in hostels I would not book the one (white building) located on the beachfront.

I loved the view from the window, the apartment was gorgeous and clean. It had a breakfast bar, a fridge, excellent wifi. It was perfect for working and during the day I could walk to the beach and have lunch. The owner Jackie is wonderful and sweet. Anything that you need she helps with and even provided fresh coffee in the morning. Thanks for an amazing stay! The mountains and sunsets are beautiful!

Friendly people.. roads and beach not perfect but added to the charm.. good vibe to the place. No Starbucks or McDonald’s 😁😁😁 Scuba shops all over.. Recommend Reef Shepherds! Was good dive just in the bay, but think better in park.. didn’t go due to Vis!

I thought that staying out of Santa Marta would be quieter but not so. There isn't a whole lot to do in Taganga. To get to Tayrona you have to go back to Santa Marta anyway, unless you get the boat from Taganga. A few days was enough. Babaganoush is a lovely restaurant - I only knew of it because a friend had told me.

This place was too jarring for me.

This place was too jarring for me. If you want to party and pay extra for everything, this is the place to go. It has obviously been jaded by tourism. There are so many other beautiful places in Colombia to visit. I stayed here one night and then moved on to Santa Marta. It worth it.

The weekends ( and probably public holidays) are noisy and the weekdays quiet. The resort has an edgy reputation but we found it fine during the day and early evening. There are some good places to eat.

An awesome place! Super chill vibe. Jenny, the owner, is diligent, caring and basically great. The pool is such a relief during the hot days here. Plenty of room choices. Overlooking football pitch, nice! Did I mention Jenny’s Tío loco? Always available to help! Super nice group here. I stayed longer than planned. There are plenty of beers available at very reasonable prices. Jenny promises to add Corona Tropical to the mix for the low carb crew. Gracias Sierraventura Hostel!! I’ll be back! 🤙

The hostel is really chill and clean. The owners are super friendly and open hearted. The rooms are cleaned daily and the commom area is comfortable with multiple hammocks, good wifi and some nice shade from the trees in the property. In the night its very quiet and no parties are around. The breakfast ist also tasty as well as the juices they have. Definitly go there of you visit Taganga!

The breakfast was delicious! And the place too, it has an awesome view to Taganga's bay. They might wanna think about an improvement on the beds though. The mattress was uncomfortable, you were almost sleeping on the tables. Nevertheless, it was a good relation price/utility.

Hotel San Marco is very good and in a very good location. Lovely staff. Very clean. However, we decided to stay one night only and go away from Taganga the very next morning. Sadly, this town is extremely dirty. What could be a paradise is a smelly tip.

The lady who mostly took care of us was super helpful. She speaks nice English (and that's rare in Colombia even in hotels, so we value it even more). She helped us with our laundry, SIM cards problems and tried to offer some diversity in breakfasts.
