This is a wonderful town. It is particularly wonderful on a clear day. I would recommend the boat-trip on the lake at sunset. There are lots of travel agencies that offer full-day tours in the region. I did one called Huilo-Huilo and it was absolutely great!ChrismateFrance - 8.0Scored 8.0

Town is small enough to go around by walking. Lots of restaurants and bars. Dining in restaurants is not cheap. Beach is nice and clean, sand is very rough though. Sandals or shoes are recommended to use. Water is bright and clear. View is nice with mountains and lake.

They take care of all the details, the hotel is located in a nature reserve near the Villarrica Volcano (they have a viewpoint to see it), the facilities are straight out of a movie, the rooms are excellent, the attention of Cata and Alejandro makes your stay even more pleasant. Parking is included which is fantastic as parking in the city is expensive and challenging. We stayed for two nights. Once we arrived, we left our car parked and walked everywhere. It is a 10-minute walk to the downtown area. Easy. We thoroughly enjoyed and felt very safe in the gated location. The owners are extremely friendly and very helpful offering ideas as to wear to eat and hike.
