The Bus Stop is just outside the Hotel, from the train...
The Bus Stop is just outside the Hotel, from the train Station Sargans about 15 min. I had my Super at the Hotel restaurant, it was always very good. It is easy to walk around Wangs, or take the Bus. The "Pfarrer Künzli Weg" is interesting from Wangs to Vilters. Also the Castle Sargans is worth hiking up there. There are many great hiking Trails, with Beautiful views.

Wonderful scenery!
Wonderful scenery! A great place to relax, enjoy and just walk around. Dont miss Tamina Therme for the ultimate Spa experience. Very easy to get around. Nearest train and bus station is Sargans - over an hour from Zurich.CarlosUnited Kingdom

Breakfast however was extrem basic, which personally did not bother me but it might be an issue for some. Staff were very friendly. If you are hiking and you are outside all day long plus you don’t care about the oldish deco, the hotel has its comfort. It is also in a great location, very easy to reach by bus from Sargans train station.

There are no meals inside but nearby hotel Furt has a very good restaurant. This is a very good place to stay if You are looking for something calm and on the other hand close enough to the cable car stations to start hiking like the famous 5-lake hike.

We wanted to go hiking in Chäserrugg and swim in Walensee so the hotel was really in the middle. The room was clean, the staff were friendly and professional. Breakfast is also included. We stayed here for 2 nights and it was good price in my opinion.

The food was all fine and plenty of it. Location wise it was perfect as only 1.3 km from where I was working. Local town and shops close enough to walk.
