An easy short walk, only 10mins, from the Station in Bex. I arrived late and instruction were provided to access the hotel and keys for room. Room was clean and warm. I was only there for 1 night and met my expectations. Met the manageress in the morning and was very friendly. Breakfast was buffet style, i.e. help yourself and plentiful.

I love this village so much, please don't visit, the fewer tourists the better for me. Selfish yes, but its somewhere you can completely unwind, just use Interrail and jump on the train to anywhere, go for a walk along the beautiful river, go for a spa, go for food down the high street, but don't expect to eat late.

A very interesting town with the famous Abbey, some caves, lots of walks higher up in the mountains, a great bakery in town (Micheloud),
good supermarkets, good parking and very good restaurants.
Many historic buildings, artefacts and interesting galleries.

The story of St.
The story of St. Maurice- one just human and someone who was driven not only by his faith but most of all by his conscience - and that to the point that he has sacrificed his life. This is teaching us about the strength of the moral power and it is in my opinion very actual these days. The fact that for more thans 1500 years there are prayers going on without any interruption at this place only underlines the spiritual strength of this righteous man. I think his story must be an inspiration for all of us - if we would like to see a better world.
The atmosphere is totally different from a normal hotel. There will be mainly groups of people meeting for some spiritual reason. All very friendly. The room is sober and clean and gives you just what you need. No television of course. The dinner gives you the opportunity to talk to total strangers and in my case that was really nice.
Pleasant hotel in a quiet area with private free parking.
The hotel has pleasant and helpful staff. The rooms are simple, but provide sufficient comfort.
Free WiFi is available in the hotel, as well as vending machines and fridges with drinks.
Everything is within walking distance.
...the hotel staff is amazing.
The hotel is less than 2km from the highway exit and yet extremely quiet, away from the main road that we can not hear from the room and barely from outside.
Breakfast with delicious bread and locally sourced products.
The owner is a really nice person as well and really helpful. We will come back!
We had the two bedroom which was spacious, comfortable, and had a nice bathroom. The deck was lovely and offered wonderful views all around. The breakfast was also nice. The hotel was very conveniently located and the town has some great sights. We enjoyed our two night stay.
great location, in the center of city, hotel surrounded by historical buildings;
friendly and very welcoming staff;
huge room size, including bathroom with 2 sinks;
underground parking nearby (~100 m away only);
nice restaurant, good choice of food for breakfast
I liked the location. I had to wok in the abbey - this was barely 5 minutes away. The cleaning staff was friendly but couldn't help much. I could leave my luggage at the hotel on the departure day.
Very close to the train station. Perfect for me before continuing my journey. I arrived late and the communication from the hotel (for how to gain access) was perfect.
