Excellent breakfast with a good choice of sweet and savoury, including local products (jams, juices, honey etc), warm bread. The extra touches such as free tea and coffee in the room and in the downstairs lounge felt like a treat! The room was very warm and tastefully decorated. Everything was clean. The restaurant offered a good choice of good quality meat and other dishes, we returned most nights. We really loved our stay! Richard and his colleagues went the extra mile to accommodate us!

Room was spacious and beautifully decorated. Bathroom was immense and modern Spa was really nice, not crowded. Sauna passes our Finnish standards and the cold water tub was a rare treat. Can't comment really as we ended up leaving. The problem was we had problems checking in with the automated system and this took a very long time (over an hour) to resolve as no-one was there. This was despite us attempting to check in half an hour earlier than check-in time (2.30pm) while there were still staff in the restaurant to avoid this problem, as the hotel had actually phoned to say there was a problem with the check-in system and we had seen from booking reviews that this was a known issue with the hotel. We live not too far away so for us the best option was to go home rather than wait around in the cold porch feeling annoyed! The hotel were good about processing the refund of our room very quickly given the circumstances. However, the hotel needs to take steps to be more flexible helping clients when their automated system does not work.

Beautiful hotel in a superb location. Staff were exceptional. Transfers to the ski lift were wonderfully efficient. Beautiful spa area and gorgeous view from the infinity pool.
