The walk from the cable car station along the panorama trail with amazing mountain views takes approximately 25-30 minutes. There are many walking and skiing trails available around. You can have dinner a la carte at the hotel (there are not many other options in the village). Peaceful and quiet.
We had a double room in the attic with a tiny window and two comfortable beds joined. The bathroom was small, but clean. Your luggage can be delivered from the cable car to the hotel, if you book in advance.

he location is spectacular with amazing views and the easiest access ever to ski slopes: right outside our front door. The ski school for our kids was just 250 m downhill. We loved enjoying lunch in our own apartment. During the day we skied and in the evening we played games or sledged down to Blatten.

An amazing hotel and in such a beautiful place. A well managed hotel with efficient and friendly staff.
Excellent breakfast served in large room with beautiful views of the Alps.. Our evening meal was delicious
and offering a good selection of wines.
For the summer tourist there are great walks which you will remember for their beauty.
Several ski lifts run daily during the winter period.
I look forward to my next visit.
Fantastic location and very friendly staff training their best to help us in English. Foods and drinks in the restaurant are great with a wide range of choices. Despite the hotel facility is a bit old, the shower is super powerful and hot, the room is bigger than I expected and beds are comfy which all in all is a good place for people to gain energy back after a long day of exercise.
Location is amazing. Breakfast was generous and tasty, with the best view ever. The evening meal was reasonably priced and tasty. Fyi there is nowhere else nearby to go once you're at this point. Super comfortable rooms. Kind of luxurious for a hiking hotels, and the road there is basically flat so even if you're not a walker it's accessible.
Exceptional breakfast with a range of cold and hot options. The hotel is situated in an outstanding location with views over the Aletsch Glacier. The hotel is about a 30 minute walk from the gondola. We arrived in the dark and snow and the hotel arranged for us to be picked up. They also provided free rental of snowshoes and poles.

Clean and beautifully decorated room with a peaceful setting! Excellent dinner at the hotel restaurant and friendly staff. Great place to be in nature and close to several wonderful hikes.
The location was perfect - 50 meters from the lift. You can also walk around Belalp or to the Aletch gletcher. If you are lucky - the views will be stunning.
