Very clean and modern hotel, with gorgeous views of Lake Lucerne. We had a superior room with a lake view and were very glad that we did - absolutely worth the extra cost. The hotel is very conveniently located for lake boat trips, about 9 minutes on foot to the pier. For many other attractions in the area, a car would probably be needed. Free, garage parking under the hotel was very convenient. The fridge provided in the room was much appreciated. Excellent, powerful shower with a good, stable temperature adjustment. The restaurant was a gastronomic delight - if you could afford it! Excellent breakfast buffet, with a cook-to-order option included in the price.

The view is breathtaking. The hotel is pricey as it is, so I would suggest booking a room with a lake view, because it's the only good thing in this hotel and helps you forget about everything else. The staff was nice and trying to be accommodating.
