We loved this Inn! Just the fact that this place allowed for pets and we were able to leave the dogs in the room while we went out for breakfast(which we always do in most places we stay!). Pet friendly is definitely what this place is.
Newly renovated. Clean. Owner was fantastic and accommodating. Friendly visitors. Beautiful area. 1 hr from Tobermory. We recommend this Inn to everyone. The price was a bonus!!!

The June was an amazing getaway. The rooms are spacious clean and adorable. The pool was great, lovely atmosphere and service was impeccable. The restaurant was delicious. We had lunch, dinner and a wonderful breakfast that was included (best pastries) and lunch. The lobster at heydays was so fresh and yum yum yum. All staff was incredible.

Spotlessly clean. Friendly staff. Really comfortable bed. This is a basic motel but it really hits the mark for a comfortable stay. It was close to downtown and there are restaurants within walking distance. We always stay here when in Owen Sound .

As a business trip the locale was of limited concern.
As a business trip the locale was of limited concern. It is a vacation destination for summer and winter activities and is known for February 2 Wiarton Willy. One problem for early risers is a limited breakfast option. The main street reconstruction a few years past has it looking very welcoming with on street parking. For a small community it gives the impression of having held on through the pandemic.

Wiarton was the spot we choose because of the Shenstone Inn's reasonable pricing and central location to many nice beaches and attractions/towns in the area. Wiarton itself surprised us with the nice waterfront and the Spirit Rock Conservation Area just north of town.TerryCanada - 8.0Scored 8.0

There really isn’t much to do in Wiarton.
There really isn’t much to do in Wiarton. It’s a good hub for all your day trips in the Bruce. Tobermory is about 45mins away. Sauble Beach is maybe 20mins. There aren’t really any restaurants so be prepared with food!

The city of Wiarton was not really interesting. It is small and maybe the only thing good is the beach but unfortunately, it was flooding this weekend and we could not go to the beach. One afternoon there it is enough. There is better beach and better walk around than in Wiarton.Mel-pntCanada

It was quiet and close enough for day trips to Tobermory and Sauble Beach. If you love stargazing, this is the perfect place. You can enjoy the night sky from the hot tub, balcony or cozy by the fire pit. Property owners mentioned about water smell due to mineral content but it wasn’t bad at all. We barely noticed it. The property was beautiful, had a gorgeous lake view room. The room was cozy and welcoming, having a nice sized balcony was a big plus. The pool was a nice extra, to enjoy some sun. The small manmade beach on the property was a nice spot to read a book by the water. The place was all around a wonderful getaway touch to our trip up north! We enjoyed the location - quietly surrounded by the water and trees, yet close to the commercial area of Sauble Beach. The living room is very bright, love the big window! The patio, BBQ, the firepit are very pleasant and convenient. They're very responsive to our messages, even on the weekend. Highly recommended.

And not to forget, Patty, the host, is very reliable and extremly helpful.
