The room had a fresh clean smell, the thermostat was set to a comfortable temperature which we didn't adjust, the staff was friendly and efficient, the hallways were quiet......the check in and out was seamless. We requested a room on ground level and were politely accommodated.

Beautiful trail along the beach.
Beautiful trail along the beach. We had supper at Michael's Pizzeria - the best pizza and Caesar salad I've had in a while! I'd also recommend the Starlite Diner for breakfast - wonderfully homemade! Summerside has a lot to offer - make sure you check out the entertainment at the Harbourfront Theatre! Top-notch artists! It's very easy to find your way around Summerside, the city offers scenic views and a shopping district to meet all your needs. It's also very convenient to stay in Summerside as a "home base" for day trips to other parts of the province.

People were very welcoming and nice.
People were very welcoming and nice. The view of the water was charming (on Water St). Lighthouse. Not stressful to drive, easy to find you way around for people who do not know the city. Not a big city, not much activities to do in April. There was Harbourfront Theatre, boardwalk, ice cream shops, restaurants, a few hotels (some were closed for winter season), busy commercial Granville street (shopping malls, stores, restaurants and more). Old charming houses. Great restaurant called Brothers 2(B2)

There is not alot to see in Summerside itself, but there are plenty of attractions and scenery in close proximity. Taking a trip to the west end of the Islan is worth it, and there is always Cavendish to the east. Summerside does have plenty of food options as well.

The bathroom was disgusting...so filthy dirty.
The bathroom was disgusting...so filthy dirty. No clean towels...no hot water...all round filthy dirty. Was absolutely disgusting. Dirty towels and face cloths. Sink, tub, and toilet not cleaned at all. I would never stay there again and would not recommend this place to anybody. The food at Brothers 2 was excellent
We had an amazing stay for 3 nights in the Holman`s heritage site. Already an amazing scent of frehsly baked waffles greeted us (you have to try the ice cream!!!) and we had a super comfortable and large suite for us 3 - including a kitchen and an opportunity to our washing of the last week. PERFECT! In walking distance you find several good restaurants and breakfast options. Also from Summerville - it is great to explore PEI. We will come back for sure!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This is an old motel in need of a LOT of care ...can't get around that BUT it was clean and staff were exceptional. We arrived wet through after walking for 22kms in pouring rain. We arrived early and immediately were allowed into our room , given bundles of towels and our wet gear was taken to be dried in the dryer free of charge.
It was surprisingly quiet being on a main road.
Bed very comfortable.
Lots of hot water.
We felt the staff went the extra mile for us.
Perfect location next to the Confederation Trail. Helpful, informative hosts.
Stayed in Country View room upstairs. Private entrance from outside access. Beautiful equipped suite and personal touch with fresh cookies and muffins for breakfast. Great spot if you’re in Summerside. Easy access to downtown, and a decent dinner recommendation from the host within a 5min walk, called Brothers 2.
Liz and Sean were wonderful hosts. Making sure we got everything wr needed each day we were here. The gourmet breakfast was fantastic. We were so full lunch went by and we didn't eat again until dinner. If you are going to be in the area for any amount of time I would strongly recommend Driftwood Heights B&B in Summerside.

The front desk helped us learn about some places to visit while in the area and provided us with maps. Additionally, we were given extra towels for our stay of two nights. We didn’t use them all but it was so considerate nonetheless. Overall it was clean, welcoming and an outstanding value. What a great introduction to PEI!
The bed sheets were clean, one mattress was uncomfortable. The main door could not be secured with a chain. The next store guest had a barking dog and was smoking pot heavily. When taking a shower there was no more hot water after a minute or so. The outside of the motel looked very shabby.
Everything was fantastic. Daryl & Lynne are wonderful!! They were so accommodating. From the food, fun conversations, helpful tips on what to see and the wonderful room with our own hummingbirds outside the windows. Couldn't have asked for a better place to stay for our 1st PEI visit!!
The gentleman who checked us in was very friendly, and gave us an upgrade because we were celebrating my daughter’s 40th birthday. The Iron & Salt restaurant in the hotel served us an amazing breakfast which was included in our nights stay. Service was excellent.
The location was great! Owners were friendly and helpful. Excellent communication. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Great WIFI. They own both motels and the one we stayed at had a pretty green space.
Able to access Summerside with a 20-minute walk. Close to shoreline trail (10-mins on foot). Comfortable bed, nice decor in historic house, and friendly proprietors. Free parking.
It was so nice. A little oasis right in Summerside. We appreciated the quick, easy check-in, baked goodies and the quiet country setting. We will definitely return!
The service we received from the manager was amazing. She went out of her way to accomadate us.It was not a 5 star hotel but we received 5 star service from her
old old hotel place has been eaten by covid, no food, nothing close. Front desk fellow very nice and helpful room was super clean and our stay was quiet.
