Located just 300 metres from Lake Huron, Inn at the Harbour is 56 metres away from the Kincardine Lighthouse and Museum.

The Inn is located right by the water and is in the downtown district so you can get to most things by foot. The rooms were clean and fairly updated, and included a “kitchen corner “with mini fridge, microwave, bar sink and Keurig. There is also a decent breakfast available in the morning and the beds were super comfortable. The hotel was cozy and charming and the staff were all very friendly and accommodating.
Save Inn is situated in Kincardine, 2.3 km from MacPherson Beach and 2.7 km from Station Beach. With a garden, the 1-star motel has air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi, each with a private bathroom.

I liked that they did have a room. And that was it.
A microwave and refrigerator are offered in each guest room at this Kincardine motel. A seasonal outdoor pool is featured. Free Wi-Fi is provided. Lake Huron is just 5 minutes’ walk away.

The location was perfect! Near downtown. A short car distance to grocery, big box stores and restaurants.
A walking trail was also nearby.
Beautiful town. Wonderful people who treat you like their neighbours. Great restaurants. Don't let the main street being torn up deter you it adds to the ambience and the merchant's desperately need tourist support during the ongoing improvements. Fantastic festivals!!!!!

Amazing beach - clean and clear.
Amazing beach - clean and clear. Lovely white sand, shallow blue cool waters. Small play area by the beach, and a small walk way into the waters which is a also a strategic location to view the amazing sunset.
Dont miss the bagpiper music played from the lighthouse at sunset! Its a small town and all dine ins close by 9pm.

We went to the big grocery store Saturday night to buy food.
We went to the big grocery store Saturday night to buy food. We ate dinner Friday at a bar with great fish and a great view of lake Huron. It was easy to drive in Kincardine and easy to walk, too. There are literally hundreds of bagpipers all over town. They play anywhere they want and they don't care if you don't want to hear it. I'd want to avoid that, but I don't think that would be possible in this town.

We travel to Kincardine every summer for the Highland games in July. Great little vacation town with nice selection of shopping and food. Local residents can be a bit crusty on this weekend and can often be heard complaining about the tourists while lined up in local restaurants and shops

We had lots of choices of places to eat and chose Boston Pizza and the Erie Bell and enjoyed both. There are many parks and they have lots of innovative climbers etc. for children. We didn't have time to explore the walking trails but there are plenty of them. Loved the easy-going pace of this lovely harbour town

Quaint main street including lovely park.
Quaint main street including lovely park. A stretch of main road turns into pedestrian mall on weekend. Interesting history. Lots of interesting shops and restaurants. We ate at Bruce’s and had excellent meal. Pretty beach near marina and lighthouse. Enjoyed a sunset cruise, skillfully run by Captain Mike & First Mate Meri.
Will for sure go back!
For a continental breakfast it had a lot to offer. Usually continental breakfasts don’t have too much to choose from. The location was great. Nice to have a microwave. Hotels are getting away from them and I don’t see why they shouldn’t be included when paying a premium price. The freezer with the fridge was an added bonus as we travel with a cooler and 4 frozen water bottles. So we still had 4 frozen water bottles for our cooler on the drive home.
The breakfast was terrible. It was the worst that I have had at a hotel. The eggs were rubbery, the very cheap plastic knife had trouble cutting them. They were not hot, had a fishy taste. They may have been left from the day before. The waffles were ĥard to cut as they were over çooked(cheap knife). Coffee was too watery. The sausages were gross. No bacon.
The hotel was in a perfect location very clean. Upon check out I cannot remember the woman's name (short hair with a blue tinge, sorry I wish I could remember her name she was great!) but she went above and beyond to solve the issue we had with checking in. (I was over charged)
Great location; only 2 km cycle to the beach. The breakfast was excellent! Thank you. The staff were extremely kind and accommodating of our late checkout request as we thought a shower following the Kincardine Triathlon would be most welcome- it was:)
Everything was clean and functional. The staff was helpful and friendly. Better rates than other hotels in the area and close to downtown. It was a fine room for just sleeping there. It was also much quieter than I expected.
I loved that the room did not have a smell. Some older hotels that once allowed smoking still smells, but NOT the save inn. It smelled very fresh, which to me, is the most important thing.
Beautiful location, 2 blocks from the beach and boardwalk, half mile walk to downtown. Newly renovated cabin was delightful! Wilma helpful and friendly.
