Collingwood is a very interesting place to visit. There are all sorts of activities for every type of person. A visit to the Blue Mountain Ski Village is a must, even if you have never skiied in your life (me!) Also, make sure you find the old historic part of town, on a street I think is called Hurontario. Lots of little shops to explore and very interesting historic buildings like the old Post Office (now Service Canada). The Scandinavian Spa is a special treat at a very reasonable price. You can spend the day there for as little as $85 - go in the morning, then have your lunch there, and finish off at one of the wonderful saunas! Your body will thank you. There are all sorts of bike and walking trails, and maps to get you there. The Scenic Caves are also not too far away, but you also must check out the new Eco-Adventure Playground at Sunset Point Park on the lake - great for adults and kids alike! We have visited Collingwood several times in the past few years but this year we stumbled onto the Collingwood Brewery - a great place to spend an afternoon! Check out their monthly calendar online as they hold lots of interesting events/music. Collingwood is a jewel of a town in cottage country! You won't be disappointed.

Collingwood is a pleasant enough area on Georgian Bay dotted...
Collingwood is a pleasant enough area on Georgian Bay dotted with nearby picturesque towns like Thornberry, Meaford, and the resort of Wasaga Beach to the east. But the City of Collingwood itself was a disappointment. The town has a nice main street with lots of unique shops but few pedestrians and restaurants were hard to find. Despite touting itself on the shore of Georgian Bay there are no restaurants/bars on the waterfront itself - a glaring omission. And we figured out why downtown might be so deserted - everyone goes to the faux village of Blue Mtn. Resort Village a few miles west!

Lots of trails and beaches.
Lots of trails and beaches. Lots of cool non-chain restaurants with a great vibe. So much to explore.
We went to Bent Taco. If you like Mexican, go here. Unique delicious menu. Great patio. Fast service.
We also went to The Huron Club. Cool spot. Good food.
We rode many of the trails. Well kept. Want to do some more. There are many trails.

Didn’t like the Living Water resort, it was very run down, we could have found a better place to stay for sure, it needs work badly, it was built very cheaply. It needs painting, grout in the bathrooms, the bathroom sink was plugged, air conditioner needs to be able to shut off, especially when sitting on the balconies, you can’t hear anyone talking, it’s so loud, whirlpool tub is terribly loud as well, in the washroom, I wanted to use it to relax, unfortunately because of how loud it was that wasn’t going to work.
The view on the marina was pretty, the bed and pillows were comfortable. I visited the front desk to see if I could buy a pillow, the gentleman said he would contact housekeeping and get back to me, I never heard anything.
All in all for being a time share Resort it seems very sad that once you sign up for it is extremely hard to get out of it without a great expense, after talking to a few people that want out.
I would not recommend this place, unfortunately we won’t be back.

Upgraded breakfast place and chimney place are great.
Upgraded breakfast place and chimney place are great. The staff is very friendly and attentive. The breakfast is tasty and fresh.
The room wasn't service the second day due to the covid 19 and shortage of staff. The hotel was full.
Very nice double/triple room with fridge and microwave, air conditioning, spic and span modern bathroom, and parking at the door, in an ideal location -- on First Street (Hwy 26) a few short blocks from Hurontario (i.e., the main street in historic Collingwood), half a block from remarkable waterfront park "The Arboretum", and a 10/15-minute drive from Blue Mountain. Tim Horton's on one side, Subway on the other, and fine restaurants and fashion shops in walking distance.
The suite was very comfortable and well equipped. The living room furniture is comfortable and the fireplace was welcome on cooler mornings. Bed and linens were very good. The suite is a 10 minute drive to Blue Mountain and 10 minutes from downtown Collingwood. The hotel in the development has a good restaurant and is a five minute walk.
Not too far from downtown. Competed in the Collingwood 10km road race. Easy to find, park and leave. Very good strong shower. Easy parking, Friendly front desk. Granted a little extra time for cleanup after the race. Quiet for sleeping. Collingwood is a great place to visit. Very comfortable queen beds.
I had a wonderful time relaxing at this property. The space was clean and comfortable, and the outdoor deck was spacious for us. The apartment is just minutes from downtown Collingwood so we could explore easily! The rental management company Property Valet was incredibly kind and helpful!
The Comfort Inn was terrible. Dirt on bedding, bed looked like it had been slept in, rude staff, hotel card and room card didn't work (thought we were there only one night - NO), room had not been made up, staff eating directly from breakfast, the list goes on. Terrible stay!
Great location! Close to Blue mountain and the Scandanave Spa. Nice quiet neighborhood.
Very nice , clean, spacious condo. The kitchen was very well stocked with everything you need to cook and eat in the condo. Lots of beds.
Very clean and modern hotel. The staff at the reception and food area were very friendly. Breakfast was excellent, the choice of food was very good. My kids were asking to stay at this hotel for our next trip at Blue Mountain.
The place was clean, spacious and came equipped with all basic kitchen items, linen and towels, etc. The location is close to downtown collingwood and blue mountain village
The owner was quick to respond to all our queries.
Not far from wasaga beach - u have the option to shop in Collingwood malls or wasaga beach stores - Collingwood was closer to drive for Tim Hortons - love my coffee in the morning
The staff was so friendly, location is close to Scandanavian Spa, Blue Mountain Village, grocery stores, restaurants, and shops. The beds were super comfortable.
