Everything was good except the pool was very small and my kids wanted to use too, but there was already so many guests in the pool so we couldn’t use it

We were there for meetings but didn't have a lot of time; however, we did explore a few shops where we found very friendly people and unique gifts to take home. Peace by Chocolate and a unique antique/craft store were our favourites.

Antigonish is a quaint and cozy town.
Antigonish is a quaint and cozy town. The people you meet are kind and welcoming. As a university town you will encounter many students amongst your daily travels and they are just as nice as the locals. Friendly faces at every turn. The food scene, with local restaurants and cafes, is incredible - we stayed 5 days and did not have a bad meal! Main St has cute local shops and James St has your staple fast food places - Tim Hortons, McDdonalds, Subway, Pita Pit. All of which are within walking distance of eachother. I love this place.

Antigonish has its own vibe going on. Very friendly, laid back with all the amenities of a big city. I will definitely visit again. Loved the bakery and restaurant attached to the Hotel. Homemade gives comforting feeling on a road trip. If I win the Lottery I will move there. LOL I want to see more on the next visit!

It was a beautiful new facility, but because of poor construction the walls and floors were not insulated properly. I did not get a good night's sleep because of the guest above me. I could here them walking around, talking etc. Finally called front desk and complained

Ended up here during Fiona, although we had no power, (no fault of hotel) the staff made it as comfortable as they could for us in a very difficult situation. I would certainly stay here again the next time we're through.

Very small, nicely located for beaches (if you are lucky with the weather). But other than that nothing else to do there. A few shops and restaurants, close early. No touristy shops. ** water tastes better than in Halifax !! **
lovely drive around the cape to New Glasgow - very scenic.
Unexpectedly good hotel for a converted dormitory - the beds were actually really nice, and not "student beds" as I expected, and the rooms very clean. The room layout is a bit strange (if you get a 2-bed room, it's actually 2 separate rooms with 2 separate keys and an area common to both rooms with bathroom, mini-kitchen etc), but it's actually really great if you have someone who's a light sleeper (the other person can do anything in their room without disturbing them at all).
Private, cozy place to spend time with family. Loved that there is a mini split for a comfortable temperature. We stayed one night in December while visiting our son who studies at StFX University. This place is near Antigonish, but nestled on the waterfront in a little Acadian Community. We would definitely consider renting again for a future stay. Should be awesome in the summer time as well!
This “hotel” is, of course, a student dormitory turned into a hotel for the Summer. That said, I envy the students whose dorm room contains a double bed, fridge and full bathroom!
The rooms are clean and comfortable and come with everything you need. There are washers and dryers on site as well as an ice machine. Parking is free and the staff are very nice.
I was happy with the room very clean. Lots of space in the room. Nicely finished and decorated The bathroom had lots of room to get dressed etc. Big shower. Very quiet. Nice pool. Was an easy check in and out. Lovely spread for breakfast. Close to everything. Amazing price for a great place. I will be staying everytime I go to Antigonish.
The property was very clean, nicely laid out with great amenities for a hotel. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. I loved the way you order your breakfast on line and pick it up at a designated time or for a very small fee have it delivered to your room. Great service!
Location was great as it was in Antigonish and not outside of town. Room was spacious. Parking lot was quiet. They accepted our dog for a $28.75 fee. They weren't right up our hole when we were a few minutes past 11 checking out.
The accessible room was great and the chair lift for the pool was amazing for the members of our party in wheelchairs. Great location for access to Antigonish but also to the highway. The staff was friendly and responsive.
