The second occasion we have used the hotel as an overnight stop and it was again good, with a nice relaxed dinner in the restaurant.

Perfect location. I really recommend this place and I'll probably come back there. Please note that you have to bring your own towel and bedsheets (but it's kind of commun in France and Wallonia)

The chalets in long rows so you have people above or below and on either side. The accommodations have been recently renovated to a high standard especially the bathroom. The views are wonderful and you can walk into Malmedy in about 25 minutes however walking back up the incredibly steep hill might be a challenge after a night out and there are no taxis available from the town. Not much to do onsite for kids but I think there’s plans to further renovate the old reception area and playground.

Transportation tips should have been provided.
Transportation tips should have been provided. Walking downhill was breathless and soothing but uphill literally an uphill task. It’s so appropriate for a family vacation. Can sleep 7 conveniently but above all also good for camping accommodation for a group of friends. Dinning table comfortably sits 6-7 people and the view of the city from the living room is ideal to calm nerves. The terrace has good outdoor furniture that is comfortable for natural sit out

A beautiful town...but due to COVID we didn't get to enjoy any of it, even on their Carnivale weekend....but we did enjoy the nature that surrounds it,---from the Castle, to the Cascade and the Signal de Bontrange.... as well as the history of the massacres (both of Malmedy and Wereth) of WWII. We will hopefully come back when the world is a better place to enjoy.

Malmedy is a nice little town, that makes for a great hub to explore south eastern Belgium. The city itself can be enjoyed in one day, but is in a part of Belgium with a lot of nature to be enjoyed, as well as many easily accessible villages and cities. In my trip I spent one day in Malmedy, one in the High Fens, one in northern Luxembourg, and my final day was spent driving home through the Ardennes.

A great place to base your own exploring from this lovely part of Belgium. Very convenient to the E42, so motorway all the way from Calais.
Not quite sure about the parking, both roadside and car-parks. Restriction run Monday-Saturday, 09:00-18:00, we think. Some are 'gratis' over 24 hours, others need a 'disk' from any convenient 'Tabac', while others are via a paid ticket machine. As far as we could tell, all are free on Sundays and Bank Holidays.
We stayed there as we have tickets for Spa-F1 Grand Prix.
The staff of L’Espirit Sain was incredible, they were always available to help and solve the guests requests.
The hotel it’s very nice, the breakfast is very good and the restaurant too. Thanks Vincent and staff! We had an incredible experience .
I was leaving the hotel before breakfast was served but the staff prepared a breakfast box with all goodies. Super !!!
Unfortunately, I did not enjoy the restaurant but that is definitely my intention next time. The rooms were very nice, very clean and very stylish. No kitsch but stylish decorated !
Location for us was great, the area was really quiet but close to Malmedy and shops but also close to walking in the forest etc. It was great for us as we were working and needed a large house for everyone to stay, large garden and sociable kitchen with all the facilities!
Lovely hotel, Interesting and quaint. Nicely furnished and comfortable. Restaurant is comfortable and smart/ casual. Good dinner and breakfast. Friendly helpful staff. Easy parking on site. Quiet setting, nice views, but very accessible from the road and town centre.
I was part of a group of cyclists staying for one night in the hotel. To our surprise, there was a gorgeous and secure bike facility (with a wash stand) underneath the hotel. We all enjoyed our stay here, and had a nice meal at the restaurant. Everything was well done.
The location is very nice although we thought that Malmedy was a small village, but you really have everything you need there. The house is located at the end of the street which was very good especialle if you travel with kids. It was very quiet.
Nice local location, friendly staff, excellent breakfast with local products. Good room space, big TV, quiet location, not luxury but all you need is there. I like these kind of places way better than the well known big hotel brands.
Fantastic, comfortable chalet style lodging, close to Malmedy and the Spa circuit. We had two days solid testing at thebtrack and this was a greatr place to come back to. Would certainly reccommend.
A superb host that makes sure you have a comfortable stay. Location is great: walk to Malmedy centre, but quiet. Ideal place for a stay to enjoy Malmedy and surroundings
Very comfortable, beautifully renovated. Beautifully located in the middle of nature and still close to Malmedy for restaurants. Very nice shower as well.
