This place deserves a 9: the location, the house, the rooms, the garden. So, why did I only give a 7? There were way too many things that were missing or wrongly organised. The constant 'oh, this is again not O.K.' gave an uncomfortable feeling. Strange, because it considered standard things, not difficult to do well. I'm still wondering what went wrong in the organisation: not enough staff that day? an unexpected problem? a beginning organiser in charge that day? Anyway, a bit a pity for us, hopefully an exception not encountered by other guests...

The owners, Jo and Nicole couldn't have been more helpful and accommodating. Very friendly with helpful advice on the local area and the best way to walk to the railway station. The breakfast menu varied each day I was there and afforded me the chance to try breakfast different foods 'out of my comfort zone." Delicious!
