Went to Ellenborough falls and Potoroo falls which are well worth seeing, then over to Crowdy Heads which is also well worth the drive. The Golf club had a great restaurant . the main pub and the RSL also had very good cheap meals.

Wingham is a small country town that is the real Australia.

Wingham is a small country town that is the real Australia. Its main street has a wonderful, old-fashioned vibe to it. The people are friendly and the pace is slower. The massive strangler figs at the nature reserve are very impressive and just sitting and doing a lot of nothing at the Manning River Wharf can be very relaxing.

Wingham is a small country town, but near to Taree for anything unavailable, Service club and local pub have good meals. Close to Ellenborough falls and scenic rain forest drives. Wingham Brush has huge trees, and colonies of endangered bats. A real history lesson!

Very pretty town, made me wish we'd stopped before we moved all the way to QLD from NSW Had dinner at the RSL with friends, staff were friendly and accommodating. Picked up some food from the Graden Grub Cafe for our trip home, Enjoyed the food, and picked up some local honey from their pantry stocks. The town was clean and tidy, looked like a beautiful place to live, although for me, as usual with local roads in NSW, they do seem to need some serious attention, someone needs to pick up their game!!

    Interesting historic town.

Interesting historic town. Easy to walk around and look at the historic buildings. The museum ist very interesting and has also some brochures. Plenty of parking. Walk through the Wingham Brush Nature Reserve and Boardwalk you see giant trees, flying foxes. The surrounds of Wingham (National Parks) are all most beautiful, waterfalls, lookouts und much more to explore.

Clean, modern room. Comfortable bed, large TV, great pool. A hidden gem! We had never been before and stopped off for one night for a long trip up north. We received a very warm welcome and really enjoyed our stay. Our roo m was modern with a great bathroom and shower. Little details such as pool toys and towels by the pool were also a great touch. Wingham is also a lovely quaint town.

The serenity was perfect for a relaxing weekend away. All aspects of our stay was very high from the comfy bed, to the hot showers, the options for breakfast and the knowledgeable staff of where to discover to where to eat. The view from the property was gorgeous plus don't be put off that the location is some 5km from Wingham on unsealed road, as the roads are still excellent.

Everything. The owners, Pete and Les, are absolutely lovely and have built a paradise on the hill. The tranquility, the house, the room, the view, the breakfast, the garden ... there is nothing that could be done any better. And the excellent spa at the end of a long discovery day, fantastic. We certainly will be back!

I actually stayed and paid for two nights not one. The greeting on arrival was excellent. The total environment and surroundings were lovely and well maintained and so central to the lovely town of Wingham. As the restaurant was unavailable a decent voucher was applied for breakfasts at the Bent Cafe which were excellent.
