The welcoming party of Sue and her dog set the scene for something totally laid back and relaxing. Sue showed us an app for the Nannup region, which was fantastic. I love the secret garden feel of the property. It's escaping the norm and leaving the usual suburban life behind. We slept to the sound of rain, warmed by the electric blankets. It was the feeling of tranquil bliss surrounded by the beautiful gardens and the noises of Aussie nocturnal native creatures and waking to the bird songs. My son and I were accompanied by a support worker, and as we settled in, we enjoyed the bare basics ofliving withh the luxury of WiFi and power. Our nervous system was calme and then energised by spending time on the beautiful grounds of Black Cockatoo Lodge.
