We were very comfortable and happy with it room and it was very quiet which was fabulous. We just thought maybe some glasses of some kind would have been great. We were very warm, the shower is wonderful, the beds beautiful and the lamps had globes. It was really great.

Location was good for the purpose of our visit. I enjoyed the bath (chronic pain sufferer) which was a spa however I was not game to turn on jets for fear of what might come out. The shower had good pressure even if it was over the bath & head not adjustable at all. The small courtyard was a nice bonus, this was wide open upon entry which I think was done after we booked to air out. It was very stale inside. Beds were average but had electric blankets which could be good in winter time in this location! Unfortunately I don’t have anything more positive to say about this stay.
Featuring a swimming pool and on-site restaurant, this hotel offers refurbished rooms with heating, air conditioning and an LCD TV, up to 100mbs wireless internet (speed may vary from time to time)...

I stayed in Queanbeyan as an alternative to staying in Canberra where I had an appointment. Queanbeyan is a very pleasant city with good amenities, all facilities and in close proximity to Canberra. It is, in my opinion, more friendly and easier to get around.

Our first time visiting had us low in expectation for the most recent trip we had, but it seemed to be an entirely different town this time! Friendly locals, clean look, many food and stay options, family friendly and felt moderately safe. Leisure activities may have lacked, but Canberra is just next door, so that was no issue for us.
An overall pleasant town and worthy of visiting.

The place is very clean and the town is well looked after. Has great parks and fantastic walking paths. Everything is easy to get too.
Had dinner at the Tourist Hotel. This exceeded our expectations. Well worth going and trying the hot rock where you cook the meat yourself.
Easy place to get around.
Had breakfast both days at a Cafe over near Spotlight. The meals fantastic. Worth a visit. It looks like it is a family operated business.

Heat only heat I can put against this hotel is the shower.
Heat only heat I can put against this hotel is the shower. The shower is designed for short people and the shower head plastic parts have been damaged by the hot water. I love a warm shower, not too hot, and the heat available in the shower is in abundance which I reckon you could boil an egg.
I would come again though as this shower head, above described is not definately not a deterrent, just an idea for improvement, and it is good the feel like a giant just that once in a while.
What's not to like. The staff were very welcoming and kind. We were upgraded to a family room which has a kitchenette with everything you need. The beds were very comfortable with electric blankets for those cold Canberra nights. The room was spotless and a generous size. We were provided with lovely large bath towels and nice toiletries. The bathroom is quite large for a small motel. Excellent value for money, and this will definitely be our motel of choice when visiting Canberra in the future.
It was wonderful to have a little bottle of milk instead of those awful tiny UHT's.
The place was lovely and clean. The heater was on and the room warm (very cold weather of late).
It was practically next door to the conference, which was fantastic. They let us leave the cars there until the afternoon after booking out in the morning. This is the first time and went to the conference and I would immediately book there again. Thank you.
The value for the location was exceptional. The situation of the motel is brilliant: the leafy and quiet suburb was wonderful. The room itself, though a little outdated, was comfortable and maintained to an above acceptable standard. the proprietors/staff were friendly, approachable and always smiling.
Due to airline delay we were 2 hours late, but the proprietor was waiting, well after the office closed, to meet us and check us in.
The owners were bright & cheerful. They asked if there was anything that could be done for us. They phoned a taxi for us so that we could visit a local business. There was room service for all meals if we wanted it. Parking was excellent and secure.
The Grand Manor Motel is a short walk to the CBD of Queanbeyan.
Comfortable beds, welcome biscuits, plenty of milk and tea bags. Large room, close to railway station. Across road from Queanbeyan Hotel which is family oriented and has great food at good prices. Good breakfast in nice dining area. Staff do everything possible to assist.
My experience with staying at the Grand Manor Motor Inn was exceptional. The room was extremely clean. Breakfast was superb and cooked to perfection. If I ever visit Queanbeyan again I know where I will be staying at the Grand Manor Motor Inn.
Really good quality older style motel in the heart of Queanbeyan. Had everything we needed. Great to have microwave and plates, cutlery etc so you could do your own breakfast. Everything very clean, and very nice owners.
The room was reasonably clean but this was definitely not up to the standards of previous 4 star motels we have stayed in. We were disappointed to have looked specifically for a four star place to stay and this was not.
Friendly service. Economical rates. Great pub and place to eat across the road at Quenbeyan Hotel. Coffee, milk, kettle. All that's required and laundry facility on premises if you need to wash anything.
easy to find, comfortable, felt safe, shared showers weren’t a problem, they are huge and for 2 people, everything you need is in the bathroom, no noise and pub had long hours, just love it
Cabin was clean and comfortable. We were traveling on a budget and it had everything we needed. A minute or 2 drive to Queanbeyan and about 20 minutes drive to the heart of Canberra.
The most comfy bed in a motel we have ever slept on! We actually decided to stay another night because we were so well rested, with a puppy AND a One Year Old in the room with us!
